Kenny Chesney concert continued...

So anyways...

    Dierks Bentley starts singing...

         "Come a lil' closer"....

All the ladies in the audience including myself...were screaming our lungs out...lol   He was standing right next to the stage where the people on the floor were close enough to touch.....but that Dierks is a tease ;)   hehe

He sang.....these words...so slow and sexy...

Come a little closer baby....(as he was getting closer to this one girl on the floor in the audience....reaching his hand out to her, but he was too far for her to reach).....then he sang...

Just a little bit closer baby(reaching for her more....but still too far to reach ...tease i tell ya...hehehe.)

Come a little closer baby, I feel like layin you downnnnnnn....

OMG about that time....that chic barely got ahold of his hand and pulled him to his knees on the stage he about fell over...it was hilarious.... I thought....thats what you get...you little sexy tease you....lmao  He put on a great show....

Next was Kenny(yes i believe he is as short as they say...but still a cutie if u ask me...lol)

They had up his Road and The Radio Tour 2006... huge fabric sheet hangin from the ceiling....and you could hear him singing....before they dropped the sheet...everyone was so excited and screamin and hollarin....His first song was his latest  "Summertime"....  The sheet drops...and me and my coworkers were looking all over the stage...where is he..??  Where is he...we were saying...for prolly the first 2 minutes of the song....and then one of them was like...

OMGGGG...there he is..... we were in the nosebleed section....towards the top...lol   and there Kennywas on a box up towards the crowd up in the stands....probably 200ft. in front of us...if that.... It was so awesome for him to start the concert off....up close to the people like us in the crowd who didn't have the greatest seats in the building....but he made sure we got a good look at him....and that we got as much out of the show as the rest of the crowd.... When he was done singing that song.... A rope came from the ceiling with an innertube on it.... Kenny sat on it....and it carried him overtop of the fans on the floor...and back to the stage....it was great!!!   When he sang....

"When the sun goes down".....Uncle Kracker came out to perform with him....that was a surprise....and then Uncle Kracker sang his hit..."Follow me"....I love that song!  I was shakin my bootayyyy you can believe that...lol

When Kenny sang "who you'd be today"...I cried like a baby....  That song gets to me when i hear it on the radio....but to hear it live....  omg....it just sent chills all over me....and just tore me up!!!!

It was an awesome show....I do have to say....after seeing Carrie Underwood in person...I am going to buy her cd now....she is just awesome.... and has a great future ahead of her.... She seems so thankful to be where she is.... and as she has mentioned at the award shows before.....She mentioned at the concert as well....that she was fortunate enough to get where she is because of the show American Idol.....   I love that about her...cause she always mentions them...and gives them credit....and you rarely hear the other AI winners breathe a word about em'

We went out to eat before the concert at Hooters..... it was pretty good.... the drinks at the concert were outrageous.... 6 bucks for mixed drinks... 4.75 for beer.... but oh well....not like i go to concerts everyday....might as well drink....shake my bootay...and be merry....huh..?.....haha

Well i am gonna try to catch up with some of you all now.....you'll be seeing me around your J's within the next few days =)

  11. So happy you had a good time!!!  I remember when Jon Bon Jovi did that thing in the crowd in around 1990 or was it 1991?  Anyway, he had a platform set up in the middle of the floor and the concert would start and you would hear him, but you couldn't find him, until everyone started freaking out that he was right THERE, not on the stage!  Then, he would grab a rope, just like Kenny (but Jon did it FIRST thank you very much.  LOL!) and go over the top of the crowd.  Very exciting!!!  Sounds like you had a wonderful time out though.  All the acts sounded good, but I don't have a clue who Dierks Bentley is.  Have to look him up now.  LOL!

  13. I'm glad you had such a great time at the concert.  I love country music concerts because the warm up groups make it that much better.  Carrie Underwood is a doll and we got her album a while back.  Have a great weekend.

  24. Oh now I can't wait to see Dierks!!!  We are seeing him Labor Day at the fair.  That girl was probably flippin, huh?  He's a married man!!  But probably still a flirt, apparently!  LOL

I didn't get to see Kenny this year ...  :o) But we saw him in August of 2004, weeks before he won his well deserved Entertainer of the Year award.  Yeah, he's short but he's still a cutie!

My absolute dream is to see my George (Strait).  He just DOES IT for me!  Hehe! Wish he would tour already.  And I think Keith Urban would be a good show as well as .... Oh I better stop!  But I can't! I'm addicted!!!

    LOL
