Concert pics

Hey everyone!

Well I made it back from the concert in one piece as you can see...hehe  Woke up with a major headache wonder why? =)

Hope you enjoy the pics above...I think we had really decent seats given the fact that we just bought our tickets a few weeks ago. We had a great time...although i had my Uncle on my mind...I tried to be positive and think for the best ...my coworkers girlfriend that I went with...got bad news as well on the way over to Indiana... Her mothers fiance's daddy had passed away.... So it was a somber night in many ways.... some tears were shed...some beer was drunk....(not by her of course she was our DD)  and for awhile our troubles were washed away.  Get this...a beer was $5.50  ohh but it's 16oz. they said...lol   UGH!  Of course i paid the price...cause an ice cold bud light sure taste good when you are cramped up and hot in a stadium.

So here I was sippin on my first beer i bought, I sat it in the row behind us cause no one was in that row yet, and Chris was taking pics of Tarren and I....(I didn't include cause they are crappy of me)....and just about the time i think

Ohhh i better grab my.......pssshhhhh(sound of spilling beer)  these teenage girls knocked it over!!!!!   Of course i was a lil pissed, and they offered to pay for it...but me being the sweetie that I am, said nawww...it was my fault for sitting it there.  I picked up what was left in the bottle and drank it... ROFL   Hey i paid 5.50 for that thang...I couldn't let ALL of it go to waste!  =)

First on the stage was Jack Ingram, then Kellie Pickler, then Taylor Swift and Brad Paisley...

Jack was pretty good...he has a new song coming out i didn't catch the name...but it's about his kids i think ~ slow and really good.

Kellie Pickler was awesome...I am gonna get her cd now.... she is so beautiful in person....I didn't get a pic of her signing autographs cause the security guards ran us off..cause we wasn't in line...HAHA!  Tarren may have got one with her camera if so i will add it later. When Kellie sang I wonder...about her mom....at the end she broke down and was cryin...and hell you know we were cryin with her...that song is soooo sad!  When she sang Red High Heels...it was great...she is a sassy lil thing....and she knows how to work it... she knows she has a great bod and knows how to shake it...the men were goin nuts...lol

Taylor Swift was great....she is so down to earth...she said I can tell ya one thing.... if I date you and you break my heart ~ I'm gonna write a song about cha....lol   (speaking of Teardrops on my Guitar about an ex named Drew)....she is so talented and beautiful to be a teenager!

Brad Paisley ~  Was AWESOME!  I always liked Brad, but never was a huge fan until now, he put on one hell of a show!  His set was the best i have ever seen so well lit and huge....the technology he uses is fabulous....with the motion screens with words scrolling across....and a fish swimming across the bottom as if it's on the bottom of a lake(while he was singing I'm gonna miss her)...haha  It was great!   Tossing of the beach balls that looked like the world while he was singing "The world" He sang two songs i wanted to hear more than anything.... We danced.... and When I get where i'm going(which was played at the funeral home when my aunt Judy passed)... I cried like a baby!

When he was singing Whiskey Lullaby...on one of the screens it showed a shadow..and I was like OMG i think Allison Kraus is here...we all thought it... and it was computerized or animated or whatever...it looked soooo much like her  and she was singing along with him and they showed her as if she was really there...i thought that was soooo neat!

I would have to say that this concert was in my top 3 on country concerts... Tim McGraw and Faith  being first of course...then Kenny Chesney...then Brad Paisley!

So very much for the thoughts and prayers for my Uncle....it means so very much to my family and I.  You guys are the best ~ you always bring my spirits up when I am feeling so low!

I got up this morning and went to the tanning bed, went by work to pick up a case of Diet Mt. Dews I had bought from a coworkers nephew for a school fundraiser...then stopped by McDonalds and got my grandad some lunch(he loves their Filet O Fish)..and got Arby's for myself...then headed out to spend the afternoon with my grandad...  My Aunt Linda was there...as well as my Uncle Kevin.

They ran many test on him to find out if the cancer was in his brain, lymph nodes..etc... It's not...thank the Lord above....but it is in one of his lungs ~ a small spot the size of a pea~ they said they think it can be treated with medication(not sure if they are meaning chemo in pill form or what yet)...he will find out more monday....but they said he will more than likely be on that for 6 months...and then have to come back to see if it has dissolved or spread. He seemed to be in good spirits... but ya know he is worried still, as we all are.  I am so glad they caught it now, while it is small!   I am going to try to remain hopeful...cause through prayer....great things can happen!

Thanks for all the prayers again....keep them coming for they are greatly appreciated!

I guess i need to rap this up and get to bed soon...my best friend Suzette and I are going to garage sales in the morning bright and early...we have 3 neighborhood sales to hit up....it's going to be fun fun!   =)

                                        Nitey Nite...

                                               Terri
