Today I only had to work 4 hours ....so I got home a little after 10am and had the rest of the day to enjoy.... I haven't been feeling all that well(upset stomach) so on the way home I stopped and got some Pepto Bismol...and settled down on the couch to watch "We are Marshall".....great movie!
Anyways....in the middle of watching the movie....I let Beau in cause he had been outside awhile....he loves to sit out in the yard and enjoy the weather..... I let him stay out a little longer than usual...because it is so nice out.... I didn't pay any attention....he came in...went straight to his food/water.....I went back in to lay on the couch and continue my movie.... out of no where he comes in there to hop on the couch with me and :::::GASP:::::: I see black stuff all over him!
I said what have you been into???!!!! I smelled of it....it stunk....couldn't place the smell.... first thing I thought of was oh no, Jeff left the garage door open and he somehow got into some oil.... but it didn't really smell like it..... I called Jeff he said no that he was sure he closed the garage door...and there was no oil around....
I stopped my movie, put Beau in the tub....all the time he is thinkin he is in deep doo doo.... I'm still tryin to think of what he could have gotten into while giving him a bath....
We transplanted some things in our landscape a couple weeks ago and used some top soil.... it has been raining the last couple days here...off and on.... I think he found him a good spot under one of the bushes and had him a good ol' time wallering in it... UGH!
That is the only thing I can think of.... mark my words ...his playtime is going to be cut short or my eyes are going to be on him for awhile until this rain settles.... guess we need to get the pea gravel in our landscaping beds sooner than we planned.....little stinker!
3 more days left of the work week.....woowhooooooo!
Have a good one ya'll

Hi Terri!! I know it's been eons since I've been around blogger. I've been on a hiatus and exploring facebook. I do like the games over there and getting in touch with more family and friends who live far away but I don't like the one line posts. It's hard to be open in such a large forum also. I like my private journal here at blogspot best. And I have missed my friends here so much but it was nice to discover where so many bloggers have gone. Seems like my comments had really dwindled and I had no idea why. LOL the readers I have were mostly all at facebook LOL. Well in any case, I wanted to stop by and say hi and I can just see your sweet puppy having the bath and getting into the trouble with the black mystery spots. My dogs do the same thing and it drives me bananas when it happens.

Hey Terri, do let us know what your step sister finds out. I think the waiting is really hard for Mike and Connie. I WILL TAKE BEAU, and I will bathe him, I promise. Please, please, aww shucks I may as well face it I am fighting a losing battle.
ReplyDeleteNow you know Beau would not get into anything
ReplyDeleteon purpose. He was just walking by and it
splattered on him. LOL.
Will pray that Malisa will get a good report.

LOL...Beau is a little stink pot! My mini-dachshund, Oscar, used to find dead animals in the field and roll in their rotting remains. Yea, you can imagine how great that smelled. ::gag::
ReplyDeleteWe Are Marshall is a WONDERFUL movie. One of my faves. Of course, it doesn't hurt it was filmed in WV. LOL
I'll continue to send healing energies to your entire family. When one person is struck with cancer, essentially, the entire family is too.
XOXO
