My first ever Blogger Meet & Greet :)

Yesterday morning....while I was online I got a call from Mom asking me if I would like to go on a little road trip... Where to? I said... She said that our friends Jack & Sherry @ Shipslog were about 80 miles or so from us at Cave City.... I said SURE! How exciting....

Mom emailed with them back and forth and they decided on where we would meet, we were to call them when we arrived in Cave City.

I called and Sherry picked up....it was sooo good to hear her voice...we've known Jack and Sherry for 2 or 3 years...and almost feel as if they are family....and to be able to actually see and hear them in person was such a joy!

They said they wanted to meet at a Steakhouse there....and they wanted to treat us.... I said ya'll don't have to do that ..she said Jack said so....so we obeyed his orders...HAHA Thanks sooo much you two....we really appreciated it....it was so good!

It was extra nice cause the Steakhouse opened at 3pm and we were the only ones there the entire time, it was nice and quiet where we could all enjoy getting to know each other more, although it felt as if we had known them forever.... they are just as kind and sweet as they are in Jack's blog....speaking of Jack's blog I added the link above....go on over and check out his entry on our meeting....he has more pics to share....and you can also go visit my mama's blog @ Boondocks Flapdoodle and Beyond to get her take on our trip and meeting with great blogger friends.

After we all enjoyed a nice meal together.... Jack & Sherry invited us back to their home(RV)....it was so nice and comfy and cozy....I could totally see myself taking trips in one of those things when I retire....it was so neat. I could never ever drive one though...that thing is HUGE! Mom decided to see what it felt like to be in the drivers seat....LOL I wish we could have got a pic of that, it was too funny.

Jack & Sherry it was so nice meeting you two, I am so glad ya'll decided to stop a few days in Kentucky....and that we were able to meet you both....hopefully we will get to again one of these days...we would love to meet Shirl too :)
