My aunt went to the Dr. Wed. and he told her the cancer is in her spine...and both of her hips...they did a CatScan yesterday on her chest, abdomen, etc..to see if it is elsewhere....he said it is very bad...and still her spirits are soaring...she is keeping her head held high...and facing this like a champ...and she just can't understand why we worry so much...
Ya'll may not know this...i don't think i have mentioned it before...but my aunt is more like a sister to me, my mom and I lived with my grandparents the first 12yrs of my life...so i was raised with my aunts and uncles...so they are more like brothers and sisters to me ~ She means the world to me...and it kills me to see her going through this...but all i can do is pray...it's all in God's hands...he will take care of her!
Thank you to everyone who left a heartfelt comment on my last entry...some days...ya'lls words of wisdom is what gets me through....

Terri, I am so glad her spirits are doing well. I hope yours can too. I am sorry to hear all of this and I understand how close you are with her. I too grew up around my uncles who were more like brothers to me than uncles. Take care, Brandie

ReplyDeleteOh the news about your aunt.. I don't know what you must be feeling, but I'm so sorry this is happening. Life is never fair and she sounds like such a great person. All that matters is that she has hope and you love her. You are such a beautiful person Terri, she is lucky to have you as a neice/sister :)~Melissa
