Fear of the unknown...

I come here today with a shattered heart...this post is hard for me to write....I'm not going to go into details out of respect of privacy to my stepsister....

Yesterday was her surgery...the news was not what we had expected....we can only hope for the best and cling to our Faith and the Lord above in this trying time in our lives.... as a family we will grow even closer and stronger throughout my sisters cancer journey....

We did see a glimpse of hope in the news that the cancer was not in the lymph nodes....which is a huge plus! For that I am Thankful!

It's going to be a long road....but one we will all travel together as a family

I love you Marisa....you were on my mind when I went to bed, and on my mind when I woke up.... You are in my prayers constantly.... Never give up Hope little sis!

My friends I want to Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your comments and emails of such kind words, thoughts and prayers.... I am asking for you to continue them please....will you? It means more to my family and myself than you will ever know....Thank you!

My niece went to her Dr's appt. for her hearing and she didn't hear out of her left ear...I believe they did further testing today but as far as I know have decided to put tubes in her ear to see if that helps...and if not....go from there to see what other options they have.... please keep her in your prayers as well. Thank you!

I have shed many tears and will shed many more...I cannot help it as my family has had it's fair share in dealings with Cancer and the wrath it takes upon our loved ones....and even us the ones who are there for them, the ones like myself who often stood on the sidelines not knowing what to do...what to say...and was left with the guilt inside of saying to myself "I could have done soooo much more" ....only if I had it to do over again....only if it never even happend at all!!!

I miss my Aunt Judy something terrible....I can hardly see the keyboard for the tears that fall from my eyes....but I can't help but feel that I am re-living this NIGHTMARE all over again.... and it hurts so bad!!!

  3. ((( Hugs to you Terri ))) I pray God will touch your SS Marisa and help her body to heal and cleanse it from any further cancer. I also pray for your niece that God will open both ears and she may hear perfectly fine. I also pray God will give you peace in your heart and hold you as you rest tonight, and may you awake feeling renewed and feel joy, for the joy of the Lord is our strength! God bless!
