Music Meme...from my girl Stacy!

What was the first song you ever danced to?

Gosh I've been dancing since I was old enough to stand on my own two feet....tons of songs...but one I can remember as a youngster is... Prince "1999" I use to sing each and every word with my play mic...and dance my booty off...and remember thinkin wowza 1999....was sooooo far away...and thinkin I would be old and gray.... haha!

As far as an actual dance...it would be...

Shameless by Garth Brooks at a high school dance, with Jeff of course

What was the first concert you went to?

Hank Williams Jr. and Restless Heart...I was 15yrs old

Your last?

Kenny Chesney's Sunset City Carnival Tour it was awesome!

Which one was your favorite and why?

I have too many favorites to list and can't name just one.... Godsmack was awesome...I saw them with Breaking Benjamin which is a favorite of mine as well...it was a great show! Creed was amazing...glad they are back together! Bon Jovi and Daughtry was a dream come true...I think if I had to pick just one favorite that concert would be it....it was amazing! Tim and Faith's Soul 2 Soul II Tour was tremendous...loved every minute ....REO was great...Kenny Chesney always rocks my socks off...love each and every one of his concerts seen him 4 times.... I have seen tons of concerts and will attend many more i'm sure....music is a passion of mine.... it soothes my soul!

Name five songs that remind you of high school:

I remember you ~ Skid Row
Talk Dirty to Me ~ Poison
Pour some Sugar on me ~ Def Leppard
Angel ~ Aerosmith
I'll make love to you ~ Boyz 2 Men

What genre of music appeals to you the most as in years...?

The 80's was the best music evaaaa! Rock on! Gotta love big hair bands

If you were deserted on an island with only one soundtrack with 10 songs what would you choose?

1. Pour some sugar on me ~ Def Leppard
2. I want your sex ~ George Michael
3. Me & You ~ Kenny Chesney
4. Home (acoustic version) ~ Daughtry
5. You shouldn't kiss me like this ~ Toby Keith
6. Down with the sickness ~ Disturbed
7. Sailing ~ Christopher Cross
8. You won't ever be lonely ~ Andy Griggs
9. Could not ask for more ~ Edwin McCain
10. From this moment ~ Shania Twain & Bryan White

What is your favorite song?

I have tons...but will try to narrow it down to two....

1. Me & You ~ Kenny Chesney(always)
2. No Surprise ~ Daughtry (at the moment)

Play along....if you wanna ...this was fun!

  3. We share a major common interest in music. My parents were extremly young when they had me.. 15, 17 and I grew up listening to each and every single band you mentioned.. From Country to Rock to Classic Rock. Hells yeah! I'm so envious of you getting to see Hank Jr in concert.. What! I would LOVE to be able to say that one day.

    Love this post Terri!

  6. Glad you had a lazy day. Sorry about finding
the silver in your mouth. The meal sounded
wonderful. My 4th was busy but a good time.
I hope I get to rest this week. An invitation for dinner out, entertaining Wed. at Holy Angels and doing back up for the Keyboard player Thursday at Holy Angels.
