I just had to beat my mouse up till it worked enough to get this entry in..lol
I stopped at a garage sale on the way home from work today and got a ton of bargains...for my cousins Chelsey and Ashley..whom ya'll have seen me speak of several times in my journal...
I got them clothes from :
*Abercrombie
*Aeropostle
*Mudd
*Bongo
*American Eagle
*Levi's
Tshirts, jeans, jean shorts, corduroy pants etc...all for 50 and 75 cents..with the highest thing being $1.50 for jeans ..they are so excited and haven't even seen them yet...lol Then i got Jeff 2 brand new pair of docker dress slacks for $1 each...and a Guess long sleeve button up for $2 and got me 2 really nice candles..one is apple cinnamon...smells so good!
So i got home was looking at all my bargains..and thought to myself..I really should have bought that christmas village...you know the kind you sit on fake snow that all the little buildings light up and such...cause she only had $5 per building...which include a hospital, city hall, church etc...several buildings...she had give $15-17 each for them...then she had all the figurines and light post, benches, mailboxes, and trees with snow on them for a little of nothing 50 cents to $1 a baggie...and had like 15 baggies full...
I have wanted one for years...so i called Jeff up as he was on his way home...and asked him to see if they were still open and if so asked him if he would stop and get it for me...so he pulled in the drive and said they were covering things up...
i said "There is still time, PLEASE go see if they will let ya buy it"...haha
I am so spoiled.... =)~
So he went and bought the whole set it was $50 for all of it...about 8 buildings or so with all the accessories to go with it...
I am so excited!!!!!
Once it is all set up at christmas i will take pictures for you all to see =)
Oh and to top it all off ...
Today i got a raise that i was really please with...Yippeeee!
Going to watch Dancing with the stars..and
the UFC fight between Ken Shamrock and Tito Ortiz....Tito is going to kick Ken's ass for him for the 3rd and last time...and it's gonna be on tv for free....usually it is PPV...it's on SPIKE.....
Today has been a really good day....
I am blessed
Hugss..

You are a lady after my own heart. I so love a bargain!!!!!!!!!!It is it's own special high. I am sure yur nieces will be so pleased with all the clothes you purchased and the Christmas village was a GREAT deal. The assessories are what makes it so expencive when buying new. I can't wait to see the pictures come Christmas. What a wonderful addition to your Christmas decor.

Wow you really found some amazing bargains! I bet what you paid for all those clothes is what one of those pairs of jeans would have cost from Abercrombie. That place is ridiculously expensive! ;) Glad he got the X-mas village! Those things are too cute! :)
ReplyDeleteSounds like a wonderful day for bargain hunting.

Hey Terri,
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love garage sales. The problem with the mouse is one I had a few days ago....well when I took that ball out of the bottom of it I saw that the rollers were packed with dust. It was packed so hard i had to get a toothpic and pick it off little by little...

You can never beat a good bargain. Sounds like you got lots of bargains there! I bet your cousins will be happy to! Yippie!!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear your mouse is sick. LOL I got mine at Kmart of all places and it was like 25 dollars. Its a Fellowes. I was so happy to get it because its not one of those cheap ones with the balls. Its laser. I cant stand the ones with the ball! grrrrrrrrrr. Have a great night! Ann
Great bargains!!!!! You have tons of patience though for finding all of these things. I am not a "tag sale" type of a person because I have no patience to go through things. I have a little Christmas village and love it, the kids do too! But, shhhhh, you aren't supposed to say the "C" word yet, it's only October! LOL!
ReplyDeleteHugs and love,
Lisa

Whoa, girl, you really have a knack for those bargains. LOL...I'm so addicted to Dancing with the Stars. Love Mario but I have to say Jerry Springer had me howling this week. He can't dance and should be off but this last one killed me. HUGS Chris
ReplyDeleteWhat did you think about Sara having to drop out of Dancing with the Stars? Hope you have a good weekend. : )
ReplyDeletePhil
Garage sales are awesome!!! You really got some nice things!!! Hugs,

Tito did pound him good, didn't he. I actually felt bad for Ken. I hate watching atheletes that don't retire when they should. It's sad.
ReplyDeleteI think Ed Herman was exposed as just a mediocre fighter, despite his antics on the TUF show when Tito didn't pick him for his team.
