Hey everyone!
Hope you are all enjoying your weekend...
Friday was my moms 51st Birthday..so we went up there friday night to spend some time with her, they were keeping my nephew Jacob who is 3yrs old...he is such a HOOT! He kept sayin..
"Aunt erri(Terri)...come nite nite with me"...then he would say "Uncle Girrafe(Jeff) haha and Aunt erri(Terri) I need a kiss"...soooo sweet!!!!
So after work friday before we went to moms i had seen in the paper where Kohl's was having a huge sale...UGH! Why did i have to see that..lol So after work i went there and they had almost all their toys 40% off...I got my niece Mikayla who is almost 7months a Fisher-Price Laugh and Learn Toolbench.. Hey all kids love to beat on things and make noise right..? Whether it be boys or girls...hehe Anyways this thing is really kewl it teaches ABC's, 123's, Colors and Shapes with Sing along learning songs...it was for ages 6-36 months...so she will get lots of use out of it...It's musical and i'm sure my Stepbrother and SIL will loveeeeee me for this one <Big Grin>
Then i got her these roll around balls that are full of fun sounds..they have all kinds of gadgets in them ~ again another noise maker from Aunt Terri...haha!
I also got her this cute little Action Firetruck that when you roll it this little Dalmation Dog in a ball on top of the firetruck rolls around and makes noise too...I know this is more so for a boy...but it's colorful and works her imagination...and i played with cars and trucks when i was little and loved them....so hopefully she will like it too, afterall she is only 7 months old...so she's not picky yet..hehe So everything i bought her was Fisher-Price...
*Laugh and Learn ToolBench
Reg. $26.99 got it for $16.19
* Roll around Balls
Reg. $9.99 got it for $5.99
* Roll around Firetruck
Reg. $9.99 got it for $5.99
So my Christmas shopping for Mikayla is DONE!
Christmas Shopping for Jacob is DONE!
I got his a couple weeks ago..got him a Magna Doodle Pro for $15 bucks...and got him 4 hardback books about shapes, opposites, numbers and letters...and also got him a fingerpuppet book "The three little pigs"...and a Eency Weency Spider book that is musical and oh so cute! May buy him a shirt too before christmas...
Christmas Shopping for my niece Ivy who will be 6yrs old on the 28th is DONE! I got her a Princess Backpack and am filling it up with a Princess Matters book that has 4 fairytales in it and it comes with a read along cd...that reads to her, as she follows along....I got her a fingerpuppet book "Goldilocks and the 3 Bears"...I got her a Disney Princess Sparkle Nightlight that looks like a lavalamp but it has sparkles instead..It was reg. $11.99 @ Kohl's and i got it for $4.99...Then i got her some odd and end things to throw in there too like lip glosses and little things of nail polish, ponytail holders etc....oh and I also got her one of those Sequin Door Curtains that hang in your bedroom doorway(beads)....it was reg. $19.99 and got it for $3.99
I got my best friends daughter Macie who is 7mo...a Fisher-price Dance Baby Dance Classical Stacker..it is a pyramid that she can stack and it plays music while doing so..it was Reg. $10 at Kohl's for $5.99...it's really cute!
Then i also bought my niece Emma who will be born at the end of January..a couple of outfits reg. $10-16 bucks..for $1.50 each @ Kohls....
That is all the christmas shopping i did this weekend...but i did manage to get my niece Ivy's bday present done while i was at it...I have her a Bratz backpack...with some Bratz folders and a Bratz practice sheet to practice writing her ABC's on ...then i found her the cutest pair of Bratz tennis shoes at Kohl's reg. $29.99 on sale for $17.99 with an extra 15% off...so i got them for $15.29...Hope she likes her bday gifts from us....all she wanted for her birthday was Bratz stuff, or so she told her daddy(my stepbrother).
So anyways..my christmas shopping is more than halfway done...just a few more to buy for!
Yesterday i went shopping in a nearby town with one of my best friends Suzette...we had our hands full as she took her 7mo old along with us...her 5yr old stayed with her daddy... she forgot her stroller at home so once we got to the mall she had to rent one....We had a good time...I didn't buy anything at the mall believe it or not...but she did . I spent mine at Target Greatland...it's ALOT bigger than our Target...but our target just remodeled and added a starbucks and pizza hut so i guess we are movin on up...lmao Anyways as you know i needed to buy a new mouse for my computer, I bought a Microsoft Wireless Optical Mouse...I LOVE it...although it was a tad confusing hooking up...UGH! Don't take much to confuse me..lol There was about 5 of them in a row it said $19.99....when i got home 50 miles away..i realized they had charged me $37...normally i watch for that crap...but i was too busy trying to unload my stuff and my friends from the basket that i didn't notice till i got home...so anyways Jeff called them...and the next time we come over they are going to pay us the difference as it was their mistake....thank goodness! Just sucks cause we have to drive all that way again to do it, i don't see why we just can't get the money in difference at our Target at home...UGH! So while i was getting ready to go yesterday morning my blow dryer decided to take a damn dump! So i had to buy a new blowdryer too....I had planned on Christmas shopping yesterday but instead ihad to buy crap that kept breaking on me(mouse and blowdryer)....plus i never saw anything yesterday that really caught my eye for christmas gifts.
Sorry i know this entry is alot of rambling!
Just one more thing...I'm sure many of you have already heard about Sara Evans filing for a divorce and dropping out of Dancing with the Stars...the poor girl has been through alot....it really took me by surprise!
The weekend is almost over..BOOHOO!
Hugss..~Terri~

good for you getting some christmas shopping done I am so bad always wait to the last minute love vicky
ReplyDeleteWow, I am envious of you and all your shopping you have gotten done already!!! I love when Kohl's has their toys on sale, they have great bargains. I can't wear their clothes though, way too little for my body or I can shop in women's and wear things with anchors on them. NOT! LOL! Your Mom is only 11 years older than me!! GEEZ! I feel old now! And, just remember, all the presents you buy for other children to drive their parents crazy will come back to haunt you one day when you have children of your own. ;)
ReplyDeleteHugs and love,
Lisa
Sounds like you definetly got some great deals. I'm a HUGE fan of Kohls - they always seem to have alot of great things on sale. I was also shocked that Sara Evans dropped out of DWTS - I didn't think she'd be going much further but to drop out was completley unexpected. Based on what I've read it sounds like she definetly made the best decision for herself and daughters. Leene
ReplyDeleteThat's some BS about Target and having to go back to the store you bought it from. I mean if it was that stores mistake they should be able to be contacted from a different store and do the price adjustment there. I worked at Target for 2.5 yrs and I know you can get price adjustments from other stores. What crap!
ReplyDeleteI am so glad that you are getting your shopping done early... but I am hoping we will get to start anytime before December so just praying for the lotto now. Hugs,
ReplyDeleteLisa
I'm a slacker that tends to wait until a week before Christmas to do my shopping. But atleast that way, my kids don't find the presents before Christmas!!! And trust me hunny, they start searching this house at the end of October!!! LOL
ReplyDeleteGreat deals tho!

ReplyDeleteI need to go shopping with you...how do you find all of these deals?! I've never been good at it, and always end up kicking myself when I see a sale ad a week later. You find incredible deals! me jealous :)

UUUGGGGHHH...I NEED TO START SHOPPING AND SOON....GOOD FOR U THAT U STARTED
ReplyDeleteHi Terri~
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh Beau is adorable! I bet he is such a sweetie too.
The only Christmas gift we have bought is that new, ridiculous Elmo doll for the grandbaby. Would you believe we paid over $140 for it? Ouch! But she is so worth it!
I'ts very sad about Sarah Evans. It was surprising how open she was about the personal reasons of their divorce. I think this one is going to be really nasty.
Huggers,
Gayla
Hope you had a nice week, obviously a busy one since you haven't had a new entry lately . .hint hint! LOL Sara Evans will soon be on the market again and all the single guys out there will have their hopes up LOL Anyway, Have a good weekend.

Christmas shopping almost done...no, don't say that. I can't believe it's getting to be that time again. Don't ya just love those wireless mouses. I got one this past summer and don't know how I survived with the old ones. Too bad they overcharged and are making you go back to get your refund. I want a Target Greatland...we don't have those around here yet. I felt bad for Sara. Her husband sounds like a real creep. HUGS Chris
ReplyDeleteIn our family, getting loud gifts like that is grounds for revenge. You get my kid a loud police siren toy? I get your kid a drumset!

You have been one busy lady. I haven't watched Dancing With The Stars since the Sara Evans thing started. She seems like such a great lady, feel so bad for her.
ReplyDeleteThe picture looks great, such a spolied doggy : )
Hope you have a good weekend!!
