Hey everyone !
I started a four day weekend on thursday...took vacation days thursday and friday..cause sometimes ya just feel the need to "get away"...i'm sure everyone can relate...not that we were going anywhere exciting or nothin but just a break from work period!
So thursday I cleaned house some, got everything ready to go to my grandads that evening (his 76th birthday supper)..but before i went to my aunt Linda's to visit for awhile, i really enjoyed it..I don't go and visit people as often as i should cause everyone just stays so dang busy...so from there i went to my grandads, took him a Happy Birthday balloon and a card...he had a house full that night...we have a big family. Jeff came up there also...we drove seperate cause i went earlier in the day while he was working. We all had a great time just being together.
Friday Jeff and I went out for supper at Texas Roadhouse...our fav. and afterwards we went looking for him some camo boots and a camo coat..for hunting ..he got some boots and then found his coat today...so he is one happy camper. After we ate he asked if i wanted to go pick me out a digital camera for christmas "Of Course!" hehe I have been talking about wanting a new one for a long while now...so here is the one i got..if any of you have this camera tell me your experiences with it...good and bad please.. I cannot wait to use it...so excited! He and i gave each other presents early this year..we never can wait...haha Plus this will give me time to get good with my camera before the holidays..( I got him the 9mm he had been wanting)

Today i haven't done much of anything i slept till 11am.... <gasp>...lol Late i know...but it felt ohhh so good....it was so cold i didn't want to come out from under the covers...Burrrrr..the high today was only 68...lows in the 40's tonight. The high thursday is only 45 WHAT!?!? This is crazy weather for October..I fear we are going to have a bad winter...well i wouldn't say fear as i loveeee snow it's beautiful...but i do not drive in it whatsoever...yep i'm chickenshit..lol Jeff drives me to and from work on snow days =)
Oh yeah i had to exchange some clothes friday night also, as some of the ones i bought last week didn't suit me once i tried them on...but i got some new ones in there place...just hope i like these once i try them on...lol After shopping friday night we went over to Jeff's aunts house, his cousin and his family were home from Alabama visiting and wanted us to come over..we were there till the wee morning hours chatting away...we had a good time catching up, they want us to come there next year on vacation and spend time with them and they want to take us to the beach at Destin, Fla...I have never seen the ocean...so i am excited...I hope these plans work out.
I know this entry is all over the place forgive me, as things just keep popping up in my head...I really should update daily other than laying it all on ya'll at once...hehe
So tonight I am sitting here by my lonesome and lovin every minute of it, Jeff went out to his uncles house to spend time with his cousin they were gonna shoot skeet and try out their new guns and such...they were going to roast hot dogs with the boys (3 of them between the ages 3-8) and they have a little girl who is less than a year...I really should have went with Jeff..but i didn't feel like being out in the cool weather my head is already all stuffy anyways with a sinus cold...so just call me the party pooper for once..lol I have partied the last few weekends i needed a break.
Tomorrow i plan on getting my camera software on the computer and setting everything up where i can tryit out....fun fun!

I tried to read this, but it was so hard for me.. the print was so tiny, that even with my specs on I still couldn't see it very well! I think you visited your family and went to dinner, and are getting a camera for christmas.. a digital. I think I gave up after that, cause I just couldn't see. But, I was here! And, I tried.. so you have to give me a A for effort! :)

i LOVE your new camera! So big and a zoom lens!! I saw at the game last night that i went to just how small my camera is and how if you can just spend a few hundred dollars you can get quite an awesome camera. I cant wait to see your pics you take.

Hey at least your husband lets you pick it out. LOL Mine bought me one last Christmas and boy, I dont like it at all. I wish he would of let me pic it. It is the thought that counts........but still!

Oooooo, nice camera!!!!! Can't wait to see all the pics you take now!!! Especially with the Fall weather here, I am sure you will take lots and lots of them. Christmas in October? I like that idea! Glad you are keeping busy. And, don't even worry about sleeping until 11, I sleep until noon on the weekends! LOL!

My Dh's fav spot to cammo shop is Uncle Lee's down by his Parents. I think that store is in greeneville. I've been to both oceans (Pacific and Atlantic) bring a small fancy bottle and scoop up some beach and then you can always take the ocean home with you...add some shells you find while walking and it makes for a nice memory!

Isn't it nice just to do nothing sometimes. Now, if i could just get rid of the man and the kid I'd be set! ;)~

YAY! for Jeff's new 9 too! boys and their toys :) I keep telling Chris he needs to go buy some rounds and go hang out with my brother for a week or so to learn how to shoot so he can go out hunting with the boys, I think he'd love it.
I LOVE the beach...I don't think I could move away from the coast, I love that it's only an hour to get to the shore. Of course, VA Beach is not much to bat an eye at but it's still sand and waves ;)

You think thats cold??? I don't know about your side of the state, but the lows for here this weekend are supposed to be in the 20's!!!!
ReplyDeleteYou collect Boyds bears??? I didn't know that! I just sent 4 of them to the Goodwill last week! I would have sent them to you, had I known. They were like new too.
Have you ever been to the Boyds bear country in Pigeon Forge? We went in May. We had a blast. I wasn't sure that the boys would like it, but we all ended up enjoying ourselves. I can't wait to go back during the Christmas holidays.

A new camera, you go girl! I got a really cheap Easyshare last Christmas without the dock. I never had a digital camera and had no idea. Now, I'm drooling over yours and want a new one and the printer dock too. You've been busy...glad your grandad had a good birthday. HUGS Chris
