1st day of 07' and already needing prayers

        

That through prayer we can make it through any obstacle life throws our way....

My friends...it is the first day of the new year...and I was hoping this year would be far better than last...but it isn't getting off to a good start.

I need prayers this morning for Jeff's uncle Johnny...ya'll have heard me talk about him before in entries from the past...he is 53yrs. old and has down syndrome.

He is such a blessing and joy to have in our family...but within the last year or two he has been slowly going downhill, disoriented at times, loses his balance and falls etc...

My MIL is the caregiver for Johnny...we are all really close to him... this morning about 8:15am..my MIL called us..and said that he had taken a fall, Jeff talked to her and said she didn't sound like herself..said she sounded really scared this time...she had called an ambulance. They are from a large family lots of brothers and sisters...of course Jeff wanted to be there as well as my BIL and SIL.... I really should have went...but i told Jeff to call me as soon as he knew something...and if he felt i needed to be there he said he would come get me.  I just didn't want to be in the way at the hospital...I know it can get so overcrowded...at times in the ER when everyone goes...in big families..although each and every one of us want to be there.

So please say some special prayers for Johnny...thanks so very much!
