Happy New Year...

            Happy New Year Jland!!!!

Wishing each and every one of you only the best for 2007...may all of our health and finances improve ~ Making this the best year ever!

To those of us making New Years Resolutions...Best of luck...Mine you ask.?

To lose weight once and for all...My diet starts in the morning...this time i have to do it... I'm not giving up my most favorite foods...but i am going to make my portions smaller and not go back for seconds. I am giving up my reg. Mt. Dews(usually drink 4-5 a day)....I am drinking Diet Mt. Dew or Diet Dr. Pepper(2 a day)..the rest of the day drinking water.  I'm not gonna eat much bread or desserts..the one thing i cannot give up is my taters..I am a meat and potato kinda girl...but just cause i cannot give them up..doesn't mean i can't cut my portions way back. That way i'm not left feeling like i am doing without. I'm only weighing once every 2 weeks...cause when i weigh every week it only discourages me...and makes me want to give up most of the time. I'm still going to go out to eat like we normally do...but will order salad...or a 6 oz. steak instead of a 10oz. ..it's all about smaller portions...i believe that is what will get me through it this time..not giving up my most favorite foods but alot smaller portions.

So wish me luck...maybe this summer my figure will look a whole lot better gettin in my pool..lmao

Have a very happy New Years Eve tonight...and please friends...don't drink and drive!

    Happy New Year!!!!!!!!

                           Hugss..

* Thanks to Britt for making the 2007 tag...and to Marina for snagging me the bottom tag...Oh and by the way..I am feeling somewhat better...Jeff's buddy asked us to come over to play cards tonight..we may do that..if not we will ring in the New Year at home watching movies...exciting couple aren't we...lol

  5. Terri, your beautiful so don't go changing too much!!
Losing weight is my goal this year too, and doing it the right way. For me this year it's about being healthy. I want kids so bad, and I want to be in the best shape in case just maybe that special guy comes along. Another wish for 2007 LOL
Smaller portions and working out are the key. Soda's are the worst thing for you, so try and limit yourself as much as you can. They did a study about diet soda's being just as bad for you, but your right you can't give up everything and when you do you lose the fight. So, good luck chickie, I know you, WE can do this : )
I hope everything your heart wishes for comes to you this year.....

    Hugs,
    Jenny
ps. What is Britt's link?? I just love the tag at the top of your entry!!!

  6. Three meals a day and exercise is the key girl. When I was eating 3 times a day and walking 2 &3 miles a day that was when I lost  35 pounds. Good Luck Girl

  8. Good luck on your resolution!  I'll be behind you backing you up when you get discouraged...that is if you post about it.  HAHA.  :)  Otherwise how will we know.  ;)  I've heard that taking a picture of yourself in a bathing suit is a good reference for when you get discouraged.  HAHA.  Just an idea.  ;)  No one has to see it but you!  And when you're tempted by your regular Mt. Dew's or by going back for seconds you can just take out the pic and look at it and think better of it.  I hope you lose weight!  Have a great New Year!

  9. I'm not going to wish you luck on losing the weight.  All you have to do is follow the steps you set forward and you will.  So stick to your guns and don't allow excuses to drive you back to eating unhealthy.  Have a great New Year and here's hoping that 2007 will be your best year ever!

  12. Hi Terri,
Happy New Year to you as well! Your New Year resolution plan sounds very sound and do able. And it's so true about weighing every week; it just causes discouragement. I like your thinking. I'm also a Mt. Dew, Squirt and 7-UP freak. Love my soda! Also a meat and potatoes gals as well, always have been...LOL. You will succeed Terri and you have me and all of J-Land behind you. But to me, you look beautiful just like you are, truly you do cutie :).

    Happy New Year my friend,
    Gayla
