Christmas @ Grandads 2008

Last night was our family Christmas gathering at my Grandads home....we all had a blast eating, sharing memories, laughing, enjoying one anothers company,lovin on babies...and...giving gifts to Grandad....

For our meal we had decided to have finger foods..or just whatever everyone wanted to bring...we had tons of food:

• Chicken Enchilada
• Chicken Parmesan
• Veggie Tray
• Lil' smokies in bbq sauce
• Pigs in a blanket
• Cheese dip with chips
• Jalapeno poppers handmade wrapped in bacon
• Tater salad
• Cheese ball and crackers
• Ham rolls
• Potato casserole
• Peanut butter balls
• Banana pudding
• Chocolate eclair

I've been meaning to write about this for a couple weeks...before my tree was up and I only had a couple presents bought...I ventured out a couple weekends ago shopping...I really wasn't in the Christmas Spirit much yet.....I posted about my shopping trip but somehow forgot to add this....my shopping experiences this year are enough to make me want to pull my hair out...lol

So I had went into Fashion Bug ..done my shopping ...came out to my vehicle only to find that the jackass next to me had parked so close that I had to crawl through my passenger side and climb over my console to even get in my drivers seat...to say I was pissed is putting it lightly....I was fuming mad...I called Jeff venting....he said to check to see if they had done any damage to my Expedition...I said I would if I could open my freakin door up....not thinking of pulling forward and getting out and looking...so I thought I will just write down the license plate # if there was any damage to mine....as I was writing it down the girl was walking to her van, and went to her passenger side....I just know that is the only way she could have got out of her vehicle too...but vans have a big sliding door where as I just have a small regular door to climb in ...big difference.. When I saw her...you don't know how bad I wanted to roll down my window and give her a piece of my mind.... GRR! Instead remembering "Tis the season to be jolly"....I bit my tongue and drove off......I've been so dang busy I still haven't checked to see if there was any damage.

Another shopping experience...and this may be a little TMI(too much information)...but my cousin stayed the night friday night...we went out to eat at Cheddars and went shopping....we went to Target and as we went in...I told her to wait a minute I needed to go to the restroom....so in I went...sitting there doing my business...and this little girl around 4yrs old stands in front of my stall...she knocks on the door....and stands there looking through the crack in the door(which is too wide i might add)....I look at her and look down at the floor thinking "Go away"...so a minute passes....she is still there...hasn't taken her eyes off me...and knocks again...I'm thinking "kid...I need to wipe and get to shopping....go away"....during this time I hear others leaving their stall....why in the world isn't this child going in the others....so i'm sure another minute or two has passed and she knocked a 3rd time....by then I am giving her that look..and motioning to the next stall over...thinking "Please please go to the next stall and stop looking at me...ugh!" ...about that time someone hollared in there to her and told her to come on.... the kid didn't even use the restroom....she was too busy bothering me....lol I came out and told my cousin what took so long....and we laughed and laughed....goodness sakes whats next?

Fashion Bug left a message on my machine, cause I am one of their #1 customers...haha telling me of a sale they were having this weekend... 50% off pretty much everything and an extra 10% off if you use your credit card.....also no payment till march if you wish to defer your payment....so off my cousin and I went to Fashion Bug yesterday....we got alot of nice things for cheap! Anyways I let her pay me...and I paid for it all with my card so we could get the extra % off....so when we went to checkout it seemed they were having a problem and it wasn't letting people get the extra 10% off....but they had already told me by answering machine and by mouth when we entered the store so the manager said she had to give it to us.... it took her about 45 minutes to straighten everything out...and for our troubles they gave us 3.... $10 off a $10 purchase coupons....here is what all we got for $99

• 2 sweaters
• 2 shirts
• 2 jeans
• 2 dress capri's
• bra
• 4 panties
• necklace and earring set
• 2 pair earrings

The jeans alone were regular $37 each....we got some awesome deals...I'm calling today to see if they got the mess straightened up...so it works when you check out....so I might go back and see what else I can get for cheap....can't beat 60% off total..and also $10 coupons

Anyways....all my shopping is done....I work Mon-Wed(hoping to get off early wed) off thursday...and have to work friday....so I'm going to rest till our next gathering which is Christmas morning at my MIL's....then we have another gathering at my Moms on the 28th....makes me tired just thinking about all the running we will be doing....but it will be ohhh so much fun!
