Went to bed early last night...because I felt like poo...had a decents night sleep but woke up in the night with a tummy ache...that I had , had all day mind you...
Woke up this morning, wanted to call into work so bad but I did manage to drag my tush out of bed and into work...on the way to work I prayed...
"Lord, please help me make it through this day"
Tummy still aching....just feeling BLAH...ya know?
Apparently the Lord was listening....I know I shouldn't look at this as a blessing....but we were broke down at work all day today....and had ALOT of sit down time...just what I needed...all curled up in the breakroom with my coat thrown over me....waiting for word of when we would be up and running again....around 11am...which is the time we go to lunch...we got word that we wouldn't be up and running until tomorrow morning ....so those of us that wanted to could take a few vacation hours and go home....my butt hit the door no sooner than anyone could say goodbye....
I went to Rite Aid...got my BP meds filled, I had been out since saturday morning... I know it's not good to not take meds like you are suppose to...but Jeff went to get it filled for me when he was out and about saturday afternoon...and they were already closed.....so I got it filled today....beginning to wonder if my break in taking my meds is the cause of my upset stomach....a coworker said they very well believed it could be...hmm...not sure....since I am having other symptoms such as sore throat, glands hurt a tad...and just aching all over really.... Jeff is feeling bad too now.... we probably caught the crud from family at Thanksgiving.... We will get over it eventually....it is that time of year....
This morning I was so excited....I read the paper and in a section we have called the Bargain Basement...there was a Toshiba 65 inch HDTV...2yrs old...Exc. condition for $100.....I called Jeff immediately....told him not quite sure what we would do with it....sell ours which is a 57inch...and about 5yrs old or so...or what...but for $100 bucks...this was a steal! I was bummed when Jeff called back and said it was a misprint in the paper...it was $1000 obo..... Oh well...it sounded good...LOL
I envy all of you who already have all of their shopping done, and Christmas tree and decorations all put up....I like getting mine done early...but this year I am lagging around...mostly due to not feelin so hot....hopefully we will get our tree up this weekend....and some shopping done.
Well, this was longer than intended....so I'm gonna scoot and go take a hot shower and relax....

Hey there good looking lady, Sorry you are under the weather. Hope you are up and fit in the AM. I know I do not have to tell you this is a bad time of the year fo be sickly. I Pray that you will get better. The old advice, drink, liquids, take asperins and rest. Then ask Jeff to please fix chicken soup!

can you do the old ny-quil on your meds? when i feel that bad nothing else will do. i get the liquid gels so i dont have to choke down the syrupy kind.

I don't believe in god, I'm agnostic...however i do find myself praying to him when i have no other answers! Which is weird for someone who is agnostic.

Terry that was how I felt for about 3 days. Think I am better today. You take care and do not run out of your meds. Especially blood pressure. That cointrols a lot of your heart activity and also prevents strokes. Can't have anything happen to you. Far to special!!! Lucy

Hope you're feeling better by now. I was very sick on Monday and my kids have been dealing with the bug too. We're all healthy now. When we get sick we don't leave the house. Hate to be the cause of spreading it to others, so today was our first day out, since I wouldn't leave yesterday since it hadn't been 24 hrs since Jacob was fever free and he'd thrown up once yesterday morning.
ReplyDeleteYou gotta keep up with BP meds, Teri. I don't know if that caused your flu like symptoms. I have some sort of bug I can't get rid of. My BF said it has something to do with the flu shot this year making people susceptible to some type of crud. I still don't have my tree up :( My brother has a huge Toshiba. Not sure if it's 60 inch or not but it's HDTV. He paid 1,700 for it in Sept. Dang, it's gorgeous. Love ya!
