  2. Hello my dear sweet friend. I hope you and yours had an awesome Christmas. I miss big family Christmases. As our parents have all passed, we "older" Miller womaen have taken on the roll of Matriarchs. Not a job I wanted yet. LOL It's so hard for me to believe that this is the 20th year I have been without my Mom, who passed when she was 60. Richard is 60 this year. This is our first year without his Mom. She passed in Jan. at the ripe age of 95. She was SO healthy up until the last couple of yrs of her life & lived alone until abt the last 6 mos.then went into a nursing home. But only because we knew it was the beginning of the end. Well that turned depressing fast, sorry about that. We had a wonderful WHITE Christmas for the first time in yrs. And we loved it. No one had to get out in it. The firls had to wait to try out the Pogo Stick that Santa brought them. LOL That Santa. He will NOT change my girly grands into complete Tomboys. LOL They DID put on lip gloss before they went out to play in the snow. LOLOL. I hope Santa brought you everything you wanted. And I will say another Happy Birthday to Jesus. I have a snow angel on my sofa table. She's surrounded by different height pillar candles and decoration. We lit the candles & we (us & the girls) sang Happy Birthday to Jesus then blew out the candles. I can't burn them as much as I want as the back row is too CLOSE to the loveseat. That's just what I need. Catch the furniture on fire. LOL
I'm not a huge Celine fan, but her rendition of Oh Holy Night is hauntingly beautiful. She does have a beautiful & powerful voice.
Do you and DH have big New Year's Eve? We never do anymore. Richard's job makes it almost impossible to plan anything. They pay Holiday Pay (double) if he works on, is AVAILABLE to work on the Holiday & and the day before and the day after That is hard to turn down. And they do random unrine tests OFTEN around the Holidays also...so why take the chance. Besides we are old. LOL
Well, I've turned this comment into an entry. Sorry I don't get by more often. I FB more and more these days.
    Wishing you & yours a Happy & Blessed 2010.
    Love ya kiddo, Barb

  3. Even being Pagan, I still love this song. And Celine Dion has such a beautiful voice, doesn't she?
