Merry Christmas!!!

My most favorite gift my MIL gave us today :)

It's a throw with one of my favorite pics of Beau on it from Christmas last year of him in his little sweater leaning against his daddy ...it says Beau Beau at the bottom....that is what we call him alot of times ...I LOVE it!

Merry Christmas everyone!!!!

Hope you all have had the merriest of Christmas' and shared lots of love and laughter with your family and friends and are making new memories to cherish for a lifetime!

Had Christmas breakfast at my MIL's this morning, thats our tradition...she always makes Bacon, sausage & ham quiche...they are sooo yummylicious! She also had hashbrown casserole, bacon, biscuits & gravy....eggs and my SIL made a dessert as well.... when she gives me the recipe for it I will have to share it...it is so good...it calls for cresent rolls and cream cheese...thats the only ingredients I can think of....but I will share it when she gives it to me... and we had sunny D and choc. milk to drink....

We had a wonderful time....everyone got gifts that they loved... we always give the nieces and nephews on his side $ they are always happy with that, that way they can get what they want. Jeff's mom got us the awesome throw as you see above with our precious baby Beau's pic on it....We LOVE it... and she also got us a new comforter set, ice tea maker and polar bear cinnamon candle(from Bath & Body) ....we always tell her not to spend a ton...but she loves to give. I am so thankful for my MIL....alot of women/men don't get along with their MIL's....but I am so blessed...I have the best one ever! She loves me as if I were her own....and is always so good to us and always there for us if we need her.

Jeff's brother and his family, his sister and her family and Jeff and I....all chipped in together and got her a set of new tires for her car...she needed them badly.... she had asked for t-towels, dishclothes, socks etc.... Jeff hid one of the tires behind closed doors where her washer and dryer is...and my SIL got it out and said "Mom is this the kind of t-towels you were wanting?" My MIL's jaw dropped and she was so surprised....and happy...said she had been needing them awhile....but kept putting it off....those kind of things are expenses we just soon not have to fork out $ for....but have to eventually....now she doesn't have to :)

Beau got alot of goodies...he got 2 bags of treats from us, a blankie from his mamaw(Jeff's mom) and a bag of treats and a stuffed animal doggie from his cousin Rosey(Jeff's aunt from Texas' cat...LOL) I have some cute pics...he gets so excited he knows exactly what presents are...I took a video I may upload too...

More pics to come soon....

I'm off to clean house and make supper.... I bargained with Jeff....told him I would clean house if he would wrap the gifts that we are taking to mom's tomorrow.... it's a deal ...YEAH! I hate wrapping....am not good at it whatsoever.... my idea of wrapping is gift bags.....LOL

Goodnight!

  4. What a neat gift, the throw with Beau on it. I see why you love it. I will have to look into getting one with my doggies on it. You are lucky to have a MIL you love. I loved mine too. I was almost 500 miles from my Mom.So my MIL was my 2nd Mom. That was so cool you got tires for yours. We liked to get our folks things they would wait on, if they had to. Well we had our white Christmas & it's not supposed to get out of the low 40s for the rest of the week.
Take care. Love n hugs, Barb *queenb

  5. That is a great present. I scanned some pictures of our pets we have lost and had a calendar made at snapfish for Joe. It is the most expensive calender I ever had, made but it was worth it to see Joes face as he looked through it. Have fun at your moms and don't eat to much.

  6. I'm glad you all had a great time at D's and that you love your mother-in-law, she's very sweet. That's a really cute throw with a picture of Beau on it. He sure looks huge in it for such a tiny little guy. I know you & Jeff will enjoy the throw for years to come.

    Love,
    Mom
