Birthday Boy!

               

            Happy 4th Birthday Beau!!!!!

Our precious, spoiled rotten...4 and 1/2 pound baby boy....we got you at 11 months old....and you have brought so much joy into our lives....you make us laugh with the silly things you do....and you make our heart melt when you want to snuggle with mommy and daddy....we are blessed to have you in our lives and hope to have you for many many more years.

         

Friday on the way home from work it was pouring down rain...I could hardly see to drive...I got home and Jeff and I cleaned house...cause we had company coming over saturday night....I tell you what it takes no time for dishes to pile up, dust to settle on everything and laundry to pile up as well....I need a maid....lmao!  We got the house clean...and I settled down to watch the season finale' of "Can you Duet"...so much great talent on there....I honestly couldn't choose between the final 3 duos....I loved them all!

Check them out...if you want to....I think someone will sign the duos who came in 2nd and 3rd place as well...or I hope so....cause I would buy their albums.....

These guys just captured my attention from the beginning...although they may not have had the best voices of all the duos...they had great energy and stage presence....I loved their voices too....and believe they would improve with age....and vocal lessons....I think they have a bright future ahead of them....if they had won , this would have been their first single on the radio....I LOVE the song..it kicks ass!

These 2 didn't come on the show together as a duo....they eventually were paired up....and do great together.... their version of this song gave me chills.... I'm anxious to hear the album they put out....I bet it will be great....

Last night my cousin Jessica and her boyfriend Josh and Jeff and I went out to dinner at Texas Roadhouse....then came back to the house....we all sat outside on the patio chit chattin and drinkin a few cold ones....until around 11:30....they stayed the night....we had a really good time and finally went to bed around 1:00-1:30am....I miss Jessica....she use to stay here all the time in her teens...she was almost like a child to us....we took her places and gave her a place to hangout and kind of kept her under our wing...until she went to college....she is now going into her 4th year of college and was accepted into their Nursing Program just a few weeks ago....her first major was social work, but she changed that....and took some sign language/interpreting classes...but i believe her sight was always set on nursing....she is so excited...and I am proud of her!  Best of luck Jessica...it was her brother Justin that just left for boot camp for the Navy. 

We are talking about maybe going to an amusement park together this summer and possibly maybe going on vacation next year , Jeff and I....and Jess and Josh....more than likely back to the smokey mountains in Tennessee.....we love it there.  Josh use to live in Florida....so that is always an option too...cause I have never seen the ocean...and he knows the ropes down there....and knows the best places to go....

Today I went to visit with my grandad....we had a really good visit....Mom was there as well...

We are fixing to head up to Moms and Garys to visit for awhile for Fathers Day...i'm going to take him an Ice Cream cake from DQ =)

Happy Fathers Day to all Fathers and Fathers to be....out there in Jland....and also to the mothers out there who are carrying dual roles of parenting!!!!
