Hope everyone had a good weekend, it went by way too fast in my opinion. Saturday we headed out about 5pm and went to eat at Beef O Brady's and then headed out to my best friends house for the UFC fight...we had a great time...and got home around 1am

Sunday we got up around 9am...sat around awhile and decided we needed to get our butts off the couch and do something..and not waste the day away...so we went and had lunch at Bob Evans(we had never been there) it wasn't too bad...then we went to Walmart to try to find some patio chairs....cause the cushions in our old chairs were ruined...and cushions are $30 each or more....so we said the heck with that you can buy brand new chairs that don't need cushions for that....they were $25 at walmart...which I thought was a bit much...so we went to Lowes and found them for $19...a little better....so we got 4 new patio chairs...then we came home and put together our new swing that Jeff got me for mothers day from Beau(we decided that would be our mothers day/fathers day gift together)...since it was a big purchase...and it was from our furbaby...lol  We also put together our FirePit we got last month....we just finally had time to get it all together...I LOVE the swing...we sat outside last night till 10pm..and didn't want to come in then, but we knew we had to get up early for work....it had finally cooled down quite a bit, earlier in the day it was 98 degrees!

I need to take some pics to share of our patio...it's nothing fancy by any means...but to finally have a place to sit out there is just wonderful to us...we haven't had chairs for 2yrs...lol  We have the firepit on the patio right now....but plan on making a firepit area out back where the pool use to be....we might lay some stones down and landscape back there...we already have electricty ran back there, so at least we can take a radio out there and relax by the fire at night...I can't wait to roast hotdogs and marshmellows on it....so much fun!  We may as well pitch a tent while we're at it...haha!

Speaking of pool...have i told ya'll how much i freakin miss ours...especially in this damn humidity!!!!  I might buy a kiddie pool one of the long ones just to lay in to cool off...haha!   We gave ours away last year...we had it for 3 summers...it was a pretty good size pool 24x52....but was just so expensive to maintain...it needed a new liner...and more than likely a new pump before this summer...which would have been $600+ for both ...I would say...so Jeffs best friend took it....we said they could have it if they took it down themselves...

I've been doing laundry tonight...I really need to do my dishes...but i'm feeling rather lazy right now....this heat just sucks the life out of ya!  Is it just me or is laundry and dishes a neverending chore...UGH!  Those are the two things I hate doing the most...dishes especially....I need a dishwasher....for two people we sure have alot of dishes!

Nashville Star starts tonight on NBC...I might try to watch it this season, the past seasons I might have caught an episode here or there...but ya never know this could be like my "Summer" Americal Idol...lol

My best friends little girl Macie is 2yrs old...and talks clear as a bell..and is the cutest thang...anyways her new thing to say is "I have no idea" and she throws her hands in the air when she says it...it is hilarious! She just talks and talks...and she knows when she says something cute, that we will all laugh at ...cause she will laugh right along with us...she's a little doll!  Her older sister is 7...and gets so jealous of the 2yr old...cause she just doesn't understand why everyone(company) seems to give Macie so much more attention...her mama told her...it's only because Macie is at a cute stage at this age...and we were all oohhhing and ahhhing over her at that age too...lol  I was able to be in the room when both of the girls were born, I think my BF mainly wanted me in there to sort of experience birth....by being by her side , knowing that I may never have any of my own...it meant the world to me...and those little girls will always hold a special place in my heart.
