Good morning everyone!

     I woke up around 5:30...went to tinkle....let Beau out to potty...and thought what the heck...i'm gonna throw some clothes on, throw my hair in a clippy...and go to a few garage sales.

I went to about 4...wasn't many on my end of town this morning....but it was worth my trip...I found some awesome curtains for my big living room window....from Burlington....very heavy duty material....and so elegant and beautiful...can't wait to get them washed up and hung...although it may take me awhile...cause I am an idiot when it comes to fancy curtains, rods, and such.... My aunt said she would help me figure it out.... It is 2 khaki/hazelnut colored panels....and 2 plum colored wraps that you swag, also a khaki/hazelnut colored wrap that swags...I think you entwine them together(both colors) as it swags....and the really nice stainless steel and brass curtain rod extender...then I got 3 really heavy things you mount on your wall on each side and middle of your window that holds a decorative rod....they are so pretty...like a beige/rustic antique look...kinda like a scroll shape... I know this makes absolutely no sense and won't until I get pics...when all is said and done....but those still had the price on the back of them...she had given $15 each for those...and then I got 2 beige colored panels...that you can kind of see through....to go with those....they are really long and you swag those as well.... I think i will use both sets on my big window....just alternate them from time to time..... I got all of the above ...plus a table runner for christmas and an adorable wicker/iron basket all for $45....

I was going to use the wicker/iron basket to put some bath and body works things in for my MIL for her birthday...but the more I look at the basket...the more I like it...and have decided to keep it for myself I think.....haha!

We are suppose to get some storms today...some may be severe....just lovely....I like how the bad weather waits for the weekend... :::sigh::::  Oh well...i'm gonna make the most of the weekend rain or shine =)

I am getting Fools Gold from Netflix today in the mail....so I will have that to watch sometime this weekend....or this week....

Tonight Jeff and I are going to my cousin Jennifers 30th Birthday party....they are having shish-kabobs and grilling out with all the fixins....I asked her if we needed to bring anything....she said just yourself, your alcohol and lawn chairs.....in case the rain holds off.....

I'm gonna call her later and ask her again if she wants us to bring anything....just want to make sure....I hate coming empty handed....well i'm not really....cause for her birthday I got her a card and a 6pk of Smirnoff Wild Grapes...lol  I don't think she is expecting gifts, just wanted to have people over...but i wanted to get her a little something.... we can have a few drinks together and cherish the memories....

I'm really close with 4 of my cousins and she is one of them, although i don't see her near as often as I would like....she has a family of her own now and 2 little ones....when we get married, grow up and start our own families....life happens and we don't see each other as often....it's times like tonight that I cherish.....getting back in touch.

I can remember lots of lots of nights she would stay the night with me when we were younger, we would stay up till the wee morning hours....laughing, giggling, munchin,gossiping, getting all dolled up with hair and makeup and taking pics just for fun....ahhh those were the days!

I really need to clean house, but a nap is sounding pretty good about now....I think the cleaning can wait till tomorrow =)

Scratch that thought...may need to do a little cleaning after my nap.... I may not feel so good in the morning :::: giggle::::

No need to worry i'm going to drink responsibly....Jeff is my designated driver...
