Bargains I got this week!!!

Monday after work....I went into town and did a little shopping because I had a $10 coupon for JCPenneys I wanted to use and also a Fashion Bug rebate certificate of $50 dollars I wanted to use...along with a Fashion Bug coupon...which if you spent $30 you saved $10....if you spent $50 you saved $20....and if you spent $100 you saved $30 or $40...something along those lines... they were all fixing to expire so I wanted to use them...

I got the Fashion Bug rebate certificate for $50 because I spend alot there...as that is where I basically get all my clothes...so it was like $50 of free products of my choice....

Anyways my first stop was JCP....they were having a fantastic sale on bedding sets... 75% off...plus I had a $10 coupon....I could not pass them up!

The set above I got for our bed...it was reg. $219.99...after the 75% off and the percentage off from the $10 coupon...I got it for $25.97!!!!!! It comes with the comforter, bed skirt, pillow shams and the sheet set! Brown is one of my favorite colors...I love the browns with the off white and teal/turquoise

(These are pictures of the pictures on the Bed in a Bag)

The set above...I bought for our guest bed in the computer room.... I LOVE the color Sage....I thought this set was so pretty...I also got the very same set for our bed, of course to use at different times....our bed is a Queen and the guest bed is Full size.... This set also comes with the comforter, bed skirt, shams and sheet set..... This set/s I also got for $25.97!!!!

Also at JCP in the clearance bin....I picked up some sheer panels(curtains) for my big living room window...I got 3 boxes ...each box has 2 panels.... they were reg. $45.00 a box...I got them for $4.31 each !!!!

Reg. price for all the above would have been... $794.97....and I paid.... $90.84 What a steal!!!

My next stop....was Fashion Bug :)

I got all of the above for $118 dollars after using my coupon(which the cashier made 3 different transactions so I could save more)...and after using my $50 rebate certificate....it would have been reg. $371.70

I got 6 perfume gift sets, 2 dress shirts, 3 casual shirts, jean capris, 2 purses, 3 bracelet sets, pair of earrings and 3 pair of Isotoner gloves....

The gloves above were reg. $29 each...marked down to $13.98 and I got them on clearance for $1.83 a pair!!!

The perfume sets I am most excited about...not sure if I will keep them all for myself or give some away as gifts...they were reg. $23.99-27.99 a box and I got them on clearance for $ 6.69 each!!!!!
  • The Elizabeth Taylor Collection which includes a bottle of each... Forever Elizabeth, White Diamonds and Passion

  • M by Mariah Carey ...perfume and lotion
  • Curious by Britney Spears.. big bottle, small bottle and lotion

The shirt above is soooo cute...it is like thin sweater material and short sleeved....I like all things sparkly....bling bling..lol I may wear that shirt to my Disturbed concert not sure...with capris and my cute black sparkly flip flops....
Do you think it looks too dressy for a Disturbed concert? Be honest...lol My capris will be blue jean....unless I decide to wear gray capris instead....give me some ideas you Fashion Diva's out there.... Britt....Cassie anyone? lol
Anyways it was reg. $29.99 marked down to $14.98 and I got it for $10.91 :)

The shirt above...is 3/4 length sleeve....it is another option for the Disturbed concert...a little bold, wild and crazy...
It was reg. $34.99 ..marked down to $16.98 and I got it for $4.36!!!!!

My purses ....the sage one with the zippers was reg. $29.99 and I got it for $21....and my plaid handbag was reg. $14.99 and I got it for $10.92

The red, pink and coral colored casual shirts were reg. $16.99 and I got those for $10 each

It's not often I go on shopping sprees like this....but I sure can't pass up bargains such as these.... I hope you enjoying coming along :)

Have a great weekend everyone....I am going to run to Krogers to get a few things....pick up a newspaper because my cousin Ashley is featured in a big article in the sports because for the second time in the last few weeks she has made a 3 pointer and won the game against some tough teams... I am so proud of her!

My BFF and I are going to surprise her and come to her game Monday night....she has been wanting me to come to a game for quite some time....and monday night is a big game against a really tough team....she graduates in May...along with my other cousin Chelsey..... Chelsey is First in her class...along with 3 other classmates and Ashley is 5th in her class(really second because 4 are tied for 1st in the class).... I am so proud of both of those girls.... they are the youngest of the grandkids...I am the oldest...I've always been really protective of them.... they are my girls and I love them dearly.... they are the last of the grandkids to graduate!

Chelsey is my Aunt Judy's daughter....I know ya'll hear me speaking of my Aunt often....she will be gone 3 years March 3rd.....Judy would be sooo very proud of Chelsey!

Ashley is the youngest of my Aunt Lindas children...the baby and only girl in 5 children.....she will be the last one to graduate in that family.... I talked to my aunt this morning and told her I was going to cry at their graduation....she said she would be breathing a sigh of relief....LOL I guess putting 5 kids through school....would take alot out of ya....not to mention raising them.... :)

Anyways I could babble all day...gonna read and get caught up with you all probably this afternoon and tomorrow....

Have a good one.....

Tootles!

  6. Terri that was a fun day I think I saved as much
money as you did. I rented a U-haul to get my
things back to Belmont. I was so glad I took
my Money Market Check Book with me. I had to
explain why the name Jack Darnell was on the Check with mine I told the sales lady he wanted
me to start spending his inheritance. I'm glad you found the Mall of American I will put that
on my schedule next week. Lets plan to go about Tuesday. I will bring the same Check Book with me. I know Jack will be happy that I am having
a good time shopping with you. I was glad to
pay for the things that you bought. I hope you
like them. See you Tuesday. Jack I was shopping
    with Terri.

  7. Okay, Terri enough is enough! I was counting on the money market check book! Every time I slip that check book, she finds out somehow. I am making a public appeal soon. Maybe write a book about being frugal and saving your money for your brother. something WILL BE DONE! And your mother thinks you are sweet, ha! Got her fooled huh? LOL LOL Have all the fun you want, paybacks are &^%!
    Love ya anyway!

  8. WOW! I'm beyond impressed. I LOVE that brown and teal bedding.

I think the sweater would be too much for Disturbed. You need some leather or some hardcore stuff for Disturbed. LOL

I love the blue and black shirt you have. You need to have a big online yardsale some day and let us buy your cast off purses. LOL
