OMG OMG...one of the best nights of my life!

I've been on vacation this week and enjoying every minute of it! Yesterday morning I went to the Salon and got a haircut and hi-lites... She cut about 4 inches or more off...it feels soooo much better I really like it!

I loveeeeeeee layers....so easy to manage and fix...

I wanted a new look for my trip to Nashville to see Daughtry for the 3rd time.... my friend since 1st grade and I went and had an AMAZING night!

She asked me what time I wanted to leave...the show started at 8pm...I said early cause with it being general admission , first come ..first serve as far as where you stand(standing room only) it was in a club....I wanted to get there early enough so we could get up close!

We headed about about 1:20pm and arrived in Nashville around 3:15pm....we got a pretty decent parking spot and made our way to the venue...there were about 50 people ahead of us in line....not bad at all...we were pleased!

The thought of having to stand there for the next 4 and a half hours ...raining off and on...was not too appealing...but would it be worth it? Of course!!!!! *wink*

One of Daughtrys Tour busses....the line to get in the venue was right by them....and off and on all afternoon Chris Daughtry and the rest of the band would walk back and forth into the venue...while we all hooped and hollared and screamed like little girls...and acted like fools...haha! Every time we couldn't get to our camera fast enough to get a pic of them...UGH! We got one...the backside of Chris :::Drool::: :)

The line as soon as we got there around 50 people or so...not bad... we made friends with the young fella in the brown shirt and the guy in the black shirt....and the young fellas friend who is pictured below with a signed Daughtry poster.... The guy in the black shirt he came with his female boss...they were both sooo cool...we had a blast chatting with them and sharing my umbrella with them throughout the 4-5 hour wait..lol





The young guy in the pic above this one in the brown shirt...this is his buddy on the left...his sister and BIL got VIP tickets for working on one of Daughtrys band members cars....and brought him back a signed poster....I love that poster...almost bought one....but bought a keychain instead.... I was going to buy a tshirt but by the time the show was over my size was sold out....so I will just get one online.....




As you can see above we got to meet Daughtry!!!!!! The show was over about 10:30....we hungout with David Hodges and his band ...Chris Daughtrys buddy who hasn't made it big yet but is on his way....as they are awesome! We were standing in the merchandise line...and they were standing along the wall meeting everyone... we talked with them 3 or 4 different times....and bullshit about the show, their future etc....We got their autographs and pics with them....(Several pics to come once I get them from my friend....I can't wait to show ya'll) ....the concert was at a Club called the Mercy Lounge....it has a ballroom called The Cannery...thats where the concert was and the club is upstairs....they said they would be hanging out at the club afterwards...thats how down to earth they were....super nice!





So we went up to the club...I ordered a drink and Yvette ordered a water as she was driving.... We found a table up front and were listening to the band playing.....she went outside to smoke and no sooner than she got downstairs she came flying back up to tell me that Brian from Daughtry was signing autographs and taking pics with people....so we ran down there met him, got his autograph and pic made with him...he is sooo nice and such a little hottie!

We went back upstairs...and my friend went back down to try to smoke again...and yet again she came flying back up there saying Josh Paul from Daughtry was down there signing autographs...by the time we got down there we ran into Joey Barnes and Josh Steely also members of Daughtry....we chatted with them a bit , got pics and autographs...both of them were hotties as well and ohhh so nice! We wished Joey a happy birthday from a distance after we had already met him cause we were damn near speechless when we got his autograph and forgot...haha He looked at us and smiled real big... my friend asked if he was a virgo...but he said he was a leo...his birthday is on the 13th...a week after mine, same day as Jeff's.... So by the time we were done getting autographs and pics with Joey and Josh Steely.... Josh Paul had already went back to the bus....so we were bummed about that...as we wanted to meet ALL of them....

So we waited and waited ...and was talking with other fans and I asked if Chris Daughtry was going to come out there and meet us for sure...and a girl told me that is what she was told....so we waited some more... a little later we heard they snuck him out the back and took him back to his bus.... we didn't know that to be true...so we waited some more...lol

I looked at my cell and told my friend it was midnight...she said we'll give him 10 more minutes...then we'll head back home...as we had a 2 hour drive home.... not 2 minutes after she said that security came out and told us to form a line that Chris would be signing autographs but we couldn't take pics with him...just pics from a distance....I guess to get the line moving faster....which was fine by me I was just excited to get to meet him...OMG!!!!

Something I forgot to mention : We took our cameras cause I called the venue when we got there they said it was up to the artist whether or not we could have camera, I said I had seen him twice before and he always allowed them....so we would bring them and chance it....well about 5pm security came out there and said no audio, video or cameras! We were so upset...so us along with others took cameras back to our vehicles... come time for the show we got in....they didn't go through purses and once the show starts flashes were coming from everywhere....tons had cameras and nothing was said about it...we were so upset...cause we were 8-10 ft from the stage...but some people we made friends with by us are suppose to send me some online....so if they do I will share them!

Okayyyyy back to the juicy stuff.... *CHRIS* hehe

There was about 50 of us or so left a little after midnight...to get Chris' autograph....there was about 10 people in front of me...I was thinking...what in the world do I say to him....omg omg omg! I didn't want to sound stupid...but I think I did anyways....HAHA!

I got up there to him...looked him in the eye...shook his hand...said "We love you Chris"....he patted me on the shoulder and called me sweetheart....awwwww! Then I melted :)

My heart was racing....and I was in complete shock....we drove home and talked about it the entire way...haha Looking at our pics in disbelief....it was such an awesome night!

I got home around 3am...went to sleep for 3 hours and was up because I couldn't sleep from being on a natural high!!! I took about an hour nap this afternoon....I know I will sleep well tonight!

Ohhhh we met a movie star too...and got our pic made with him....not sure if he came to the show or just came to hangout at the lounge...but we met David Keith from the movie An Officer and a Gentleman...and several other movies.... I thought I would never get the chance again....so I said "Hey David Keith...would you mind taking a pic with us".... he kinda acted like he thought "I am trying to chill out and not be a celebrity right now"...haha but he came to take a pic with us...and then right after he got the heck outta there....I guess cause he knew others would start recognizing him then....




Chris had this on his twitter this morning...this is the venue after we left....he said he would hate to have to clean it up...lol

We threw our trash away....well my friend did...she squeezed her little butt between the tons of people to find a trash can so no one would fall and trip on our trash...others didn't do the same but I can't really say I blame them because we were packed like sardines and it was miserably hot because of everyones body heat....and the trash cans were far away....

When my friend tried to make her way back through to our great spot...8-10ft from the stage....she encountered to b*tches... my friend said excuse me can I squeeze through here...to get to my spot...and they copped an attitude with her and said... Ummm NO! She said listen I waited 5 hours to get that spot...and barged her way passed them... some people have freakin nerve!

Chris threw his sweaty towel out in the audience...and 2 girls started fist fighting over it *eyeroll* grow up people...it's not worth fighting over...

Chris would shake water bottles up and spew them all over us cause he knew we were all burning up and drenched with sweat....it felt great...then he would throw the bottles out to people...the guy in front of me caught one for his wife...

Just a funny... Joey Barnes arrived at the lounge that afternoon in a taxi van...lol he also departed the venue in one too along with Josh Paul....they were going to another club to celebrate Joey's birthday...we found out where and could have gone....but we would have ended up having to stay the night in Nashville if we stayed much longer...haha

Anyways....when they were driving off in the taxi Joey was in the front passenger seat hangin his head out the window...we were wavin and hollaring...bye guys....and he hollared out to the fans...

"Don't be a fool, wrap your tool" We were laughing our asses off ..LOL

I'm sure I will think of many more things to write about the show, can't wait to get the pics to share with ya'll....they are great!

For now though, I need to head to bed...I am exhausted....
