So long Maddie....
It broke our hearts to find you another home...but it just wasn't meant to be for you to be in our household...we bottle fed you and kept you alive when you were seperated from your mama at only 4 weeks old...you are a precious little girl....but just don't get along well with other pets... as loving as you were at times with Beau 80% of the time you were biting him....and that we could not have....if you were just playing , we could understand...but you had a little temper ...you were the fiestiest little cat I had ever seen in my life...LOL If Beau wanted to, he could have really hurt you but he didn't....he would just let you get the best of him... he loved his little sister ....
I hope you like your new home....we will always remember you...you are truly missed....but we did what we thought was best...
We love you Maddie...
Mommy & Daddy *tears*

Oh no!
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry. :(
It's understandable though. Love those pictures of Maddie.
XOXO
since Debbie passed I can't find our Ike.
ReplyDeleteIt is amazing how much love we give our little friends.
Can you visit her?
Wow you know how to bring the tears! But that is a good pic.
ReplyDeleteYou did right.
Love ya!

I'm sorry you had to find a new home for Maddie. She is such a cute little kitten. I have a 5 year old chihuahua named "Cookie", and I wouldn't want another animal hurting her. I'm sure Maddie will be well taken care of. Have a great rest of the week.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Pat
Aww, I am, so sorry it did not work out, but Beau was there first. I know you loved that little cat through.
ReplyDeleteAs much as it hurts, you probably did the right thing. Poor Beau would have finally gotten mad at her and could have either bitten her or worse, killed her.
ReplyDeleteAww so sad! :( I can understand though. My poor sister's cat gets terroized by their chiuahuah(?). LOL Glad you were able to find her a good home!
ReplyDeleteWhat a heart breaking story. She will adjust
ReplyDeleteOK. Maybe she will settle in a new home and not
bite anyone or anything. Maybe she needs to go
to obedient school.

AWW I am sorry to hear you guys had to let go of Maddie. I'm sure someone will take good care of her. HUGS2u. Nancy
ReplyDeleteAwww, I'm so sorry you had to find another home for Maddie. I can relate. I'm sure you have read about our feral cat, Calli. If you don't know how to handle her (SHE handles us), you are going to get bit & mauled. Little kids that dont' know her can't pet her. No one but Tom can hold her for any length of time. Even Shelby & Kenzie know how much she will tolerate. She wasn't like this until we adopted her. As long as she came & went as she pleased she was a lot calmer around us. When it comes to my 2 dogs if they even walked near her, 2 yrs ago, she WOULD swat them. She would get scolded or squirted with water for that. Now if the dogs get near her all she does is kinda half ass raise her paw and they give her a wide berth. LOL If we ever have another cat she WILL be raised around them from a kitten. LOL
ReplyDeleteI know you loved little Maddie & I'm sorry you couldn't keep her.
Hugs, Barb
