Sunday Jeff and I went to visit my aunt...we stayed a good while and had a nice visit...she finished her radiation about a month ago..and is really doin good right now...and lookin great too..she's even got some spunkiness to her..and has been cleaning some of her home herself..i knew she had as soon as we walked in her house sunday and it was spotless!! hehe She is suppose to start her chemo on the 14th...so last night several of the family, the ones who could make it gathered for dinner at Texas Roadhouse...her fav. place to eat...to have a nice, relaxing meal with her...now that she has a good appetite ~ before she starts her chemo..we are hoping this time around it won't make her as sick as it did when she was takin it over a year ago when she had breast cancer..the Dr. even told her this time around she may not lose her hair..since this is gonna be a smaller dosage this time around..if i remember everything correctly...as always her spirits are soaring...I love her more than words can say!!! They called me tonight from the Family Christian Store..where i ordered her that Sisters by Heart picture here while back and told me it's in...so I am gonna pick that up this weekend..and give it to her before her chemo starts ~ I may take a pic of it and post it...it's so pretty.
I've included some fall pics from my neck of the woods up above...for all to see =)
Until next time...
Hugss...

The trees in front of your home are beautiful, such pretty colors. I love this time of year, sadly the beauty of it doesn't last too long. The leaves will soon all be gone......
ReplyDeleteI love all kinds of music, including country music. My favorite country song right now is "Might Make Me Believe" by SugarLand. Great Great tune!!
I hope your Aunts chemo goes well. Shes in my thoughts and prayers....

I wish we had fall colors here in Florida...sadly I have never seen the colors! : ( It is still so hot here. And I can't hear the pretty music...no speakers. So glad to hear your aunt is feeling better! GBU, Shelly
