In Memory of....

In loving memory of Jeff's dad ...Tyler who passed away 21 years ago today.... Jeff was only 23 when his dad passed away.

I met Jeff two years later....and we started dating... I really wish I would have had a chance to meet my father-in-law.... I see so much of him in Jeff...through pictures....Jeff misses him dearly and speaks of him often....I almost feel as if I did know him...

When I got off work my MIL called me...and asked if I would like to go out to eat tonight at Cheddars with her and my SIL's...I said of course.... I know she probably needed the comfort of her girls (her daughter and daughter-in-laws) on a day like today....

A coworker and friend of Jeff's asked him to go out to eat tonight to Texas Roadhouse....I was glad of that...as he really needs a friend today...of all days....

We all had a wonderful time on our guys/girls night out...sometimes we just need that... ya know?

Until next time....

  1. I didn't get to meet my husbands dad either yet, I feel I know him and I know I would've loved him like a dad.

I'm glad a friend was around for your husband when he needed.

  10. It's good you could be there for your MIL in her time of need.

It would be so difficult to lose a parent as young as Jeff was.

    Thinking of your FIL.
    XOXO
