Mom's 50th Birthday...

Hey everyone...how has your week been treatin ya..? 

I've had a pretty decent week...I worked monday and tuesday...and took a vacation day yesterday to throw mom a surprise 50th birthday party at my aunts house ~ I went ahead and had it there...because i wanted my aunt to be a part of it...and also because my mom is always there and rarely at home...cause she is always helping keep the laundry and things in order there...Mom was beyond surprised...she was in shock...lol  We hid it so well...she had no clue...I parked my truck behind my aunts house ~ when she came in the door..she walked in the hall and paused...and looked at a sign in front of her that said.."Welcome to OvertheHillville"....HAHA   then she peeked around the corner, her mouth just hung open...and we all yelled SURPRISE!!!  We had a great time...mom posed for a picture..actin like she was cryin..cause she was gonna be 50.(her bday is really today)..and she really started tearing up....my aunt said..."You really made your mom happy today"... We never really have been the type of family to go all out on one anothers birthdays....I grew up with 8 uncles and aunts...so my mom, grandma and grandad...couldn't afford to go all out...they did the best they could...and instead of showering us with tons of gifts...we were showered with lots of love ..that which i am thankful for =)

I included a few pics ....I scanned the first couple..sorry they didn't turn out so great...i loveeee my originals...i have looked at them at least 10 times by now...i still can't believe i actually got to meet him ~ Andy Griggs and his steel guitar player are so down to earth....i mean for them to come and hangout in the lobby made me love em' that much more...to know they are "real"....

The 2nd pic ...thats me and one of my best friends Pam(newmommy101)...whom comments in my J sometimes...I met her online ohhh prolly 6yrs ago or so...and we instantly became friends...we met one day for lunch..and thats all she wrote...we have been hangin out ever since ~ although i don't get to see her as often anymore ~ but we are to blame for that...we stay so busy...seems as if we never have much time....we have to change that Pam =)

The 3rd pic...is my aunt ..she would prolly freak out if she knew i put her pic online...but ya know...she means so much to me and i want the world to know =)

The 4th pic...is the decorations of my moms party...I would post a pic of my mom...but she would get hysterical...she is the one always tellin me..."Terri don't u talk to strangers online...do u know how dangerous that is"....lol
