HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!!!!!!!
Thanks so much to all of you for your thoughts, prayers and good vibes....they seemed to work wonders.... I can't THANK YOU enough!
I talked to mom and my aunt this morning and grandad does have an inner ear infection like they said yesterday...and is being treated for it....and he did NOT have a stroke.....thank the Lord above! They are keeping him again tonight and said he might get to come home tomorrow....
With inner ear infections your balance is so unsteady....and with Grandad being weak right now as it is....they are just wanting to be on the safe side I believe. I feel so grateful and blessed that it was nothing serious.....we are going to go to the hospital to visit later this afternoon....
It rained quite a bit last night, Jeff was going to mow today....as alot of the folks he mows for are older and wouldn't be having 4th of July gatherings....at their homes anyways...so he was going to stay on schedule with his mowing...otherwise he would get behind....but the weather has done so anyways.... so right now he is out and just going to get the trimming done...so tomorrow he can just go to each home and mow and be done with it. He tries to get all of the mowing done during the week so he doesn't have to on the weekends....but sometimes you have no other choice.
Jeff's cousin and his family are home from Alabama this weekend...so tonight we are going out to eat with them to Texas Roadhouse...should be fun catching up....haven't seen them since christmas.
Tomorrow we both have to work....Jeff till 12pm and I have to till 10am.....hopefully if we can get enough done by then....then tomorrow afternoon we are planning on going to Jeffs uncles house.... his cousin is going to Iraq....and we are going to have a big family gathering...with food, fireworks, 4 wheeler riding....and just catching up with everyone...and giving him the send off he deserves.
Tomorrow night we are going to my BFF house for our UFC fight night gathering....Jackson vs. Griffin.... I believe Rampage will dominate and take the win....I hope anyways.
So we're gonna be very busy this weekend....I just love summer...so much fun!

That is super news. Sorry that he isn't feeling well enough to be home today but the alternative would have been much worse. Antibiotics ought to help him to feel better. Hope you have a good Fourth of July now that things are looking better. : )

Glad to hear that your granddad is doing good Terri. I'm sure your family had a Great 4th of July, just knowing he is well. That inner ear is some bad stuff. I had a bout with it myself back in the spring. Have a good weekend, sounds like your gonna have a fun-filled weekend. You always have good weekends, lol. Brenda
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad that all your grandpa had was an inner ear infection. Those can throw off your equilibrium! Brandon had water in his inner ear once and it made him feel really badly and unsteady...he thought it was bad motion sickness. Hope you had a great 4th and weekend!
