Our Anniversary!

                

                        July 29, 1995

13yrs ago today...I walked down the isle and married the man of my dreams....my best friend.

We dated for 5yrs....were engaged for 2 of those years....our wedding was planned in less than a month....we were married in a church....my MIL made our wedding cake, my Aunt Judy and Uncle Mike bought my wedding dress(it was their gift to us)....I picked it out at Bacons(which was Famous Barr...which is now Macy's)....my parents paid for all the food, guest book, wine glasses, decorations etc....everything was kept simple but turned out just wonderful..... the church where we got married said it was the prettiest reception they had ever seen....not compared to some today,as some spend thousands on decorations alone....but like I said ours was simple....yet beautiful.

We had an after party at my parents with music, food, good conversation and family...it was a night to remember....

Unlike most newlyweds who take a flight or trip to somewhere amazing for their honeymoon....Jeff and I spent our first night together in our first home we bought just 3 months before we got married....and we are still living here.....we really couldn't afford to go anywhere at the time... a couple years later we made a trip to Nashville, Tenn...and spent the weekend at Opryland Hotel...which is one of the top 10 hotels in the US...or was at that time....we considered that our honeymoon and had a wonderful time.

With each passing day I love you more and more....I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with you....and grow old together....

      I love you the whole wide world!
