6lbs 5 oz ~ 19in long
My cousin Sandra had her baby this morning...I got off work at 10am and went straight up there to meet this precious lil man....
He is so alert, with eyes open checking out everything...and loving to suck on his hands and fingers...I think he is gonna be a thumb sucker...lol
She had visitors for awhile, and then needed rest....so I headed home.... she is my cousin Justins sister(the one who went to basic training for the Navy)....as soon as she got settled in a room her mom and dad left for Chicago for Justins graduation from basic training which is tomorrow....
Congratulations Sandra you've brought another handsome lil fella into our lives =)

I got Elijah 3 really cute onesies with bears on them...one says Gone Fishing and one says Do not Disturb....and the other just has stripes....and I got a really soft cotton blanket that matches them....
I have another cousin having a little girl in August....I need to be getting her something....and I also have one of my good friends from school having her first son(she has 3 girls) in Sept....both of them are having showers in august...so i need to get to shopping
Anyways....just sharing all the good news!!! =)

ReplyDeletewhat a cute baby!!! congrats and best wishes on your anniversary. IF i was to get married i would use common sense like you two did and keep it SIMPLE and MEANINGFUL and not become a bridezilla with a huge credit card debit.
i dont know if this is a real quote or who said it, but good things come from humble beginnings.
also if you liked tuesdays with morrie you might want to check out the book 'the five people you meet in heaven' . mitch albom is a resident here and does a radio show in addition to writing for the sports part of the paper.

Shopping for baby girls is the best. those cute little dresses and ruffled panties, lol
I kinda wish I wasnt allergic to dogs. they sell the cutest little clothes and boots for doggies. I especially like the t shirts with the cool sayings on them . Take care dear. your friend June
