We gathered at moms last night to hangout...and give my stepbrother and stepsisters kids...their Easter gifts we got them (summer clothes)....they loved them!  I am so glad i got all the right sizes too ~ not being a mother myself...shopping for kids isn't an easy task when it comes to sizes...lol  My stepbrother just got married this past year...and he has a stepdaughter Ivy now...and she is 5yrs old ~ she has been around me a few times at family get2gethers...but last night she really warmed up to me.... When she stumped her toe outside on the concrete and cried bloody murder....she cried out for me...awww  =)

Things like that just melt my heart....and before she left last night...she said I love you...and hugged my leg.... I'm going to have to get her to stay all night sometime. She would love playing with Beau. My stepbro also is the one i have talked about in previous entries, they just had their first child together ~ Makayla(thought they was spelling it Michaela) but they changed their minds... She is weighing 10lbs now...and so laid back...and carefree....just a little doll. It's been awhile since i had held a newborn ~ wowza!  I almost forgot how their lil' heads bobble around...and how we must support it...lol  My sisinlaw was laughing at me.... I was like Uhoh!  Help me =)

It only took a few minutes...and i gotthe hang of it real quick ~ Makayla has her aunt Terri wrapped around her lil finger...hehe

Then there is my nephew Jacob...he is 2 and a half....and a bundle of energy...lol   It is the funniest thing...maybe not to some but i can't help but laugh....ever since he was tiny he uses his middle finger for everything...especially pointing.... Well the baby Makayla....sticks the very same finger out just like he does... I was cracking up last night ~ must run in the family!

My mom was like...but Gary(my stepdad)...never uses that finger...so it can't be an (their last name)...trait....i was like mom....pleaseee...I know he has used that finger on more than one occasion in his lifetime ~ i'm sure he's shined it at a few people along the way....she just laughed!  We really had a good time last night.

Tomorrow I am going to the Easter mass, i think Jeff may be coming along with me...<smile>   ...then we are gonna come home rest a bit....then we are heading to his moms for Easter around noon.... Later in the day we are going to my grandads for a feast!  My uncle is bbq'ing chickens...my mom is bbq'ing boston butt....we are having baked beans, tater salad....who knows what else...i will have to take some pics.... I hope to anyways.
