Slumber Party,Wienie Roast...good times!

Hey everyone!

      I went to the slumber party/ wienie roast at my cousin Chelsey's last night...and we had an absolute ball!   She had a wonderful night...gathering with friends and family....before she has her back surgery on monday.

   She had a great turn out...several of her classmates made it....they played music and danced...and jumped on the trampoline, roasted wienies, marshmellows...made smores...sat around and enjoyed each others company...just being teenagers!

 The party was over for the classmates @10...but some parents didn't show till 11pm...we figure that was the kids doins...tellin them a later time than they should have....ahh...kids will be kids...i remember doin that kinda stuff...lol

    Then the girls came in and joined the family slumber party... Ashley and Allie were the only ones that stayed from her class... Ashley is our first cousin and Allie is our third cousin.  Then 2 of Chelseys aunts on her dads side stayed the night ....as well as my aunt Linda, my cousin Jessica and I.... My mom went home around 10pm...cause she had to babysit my nephew bright and early this morning.  We stayed up till the wee morning hours(3am)....talking and snackin on goodies... Taco dip, tortilla chips, tons of other chips, pepperjack cheese sticks....etc.... We played a questions game...where anyone could ask any questions...about anything....life etc....  and everyone had to come up with an answer.  The questions ranged from... What is the first thing you wash in the shower....to... If you get to Heaven what is the first thing you want to do....to What is the sweetest thing you have done for your husband/boyfriend...and he for you....etc....the game went on for a good while.... We laughed until we cried..... Then there were moments we really shed a few tears...talking about memories of my aunt Judy and how she would have loved to have been there lastnight...and in spirit she was =)   She loved having wienie roast and slumber parties at her house...she was a entertainer for sure....loved to have fun with family!   

Several of us slept on the couch and loveseat....it makes out into 4 recliners...and then they have a seperate recliner also.....and they lay pretty far back and are comfy....so about 3am...all the lights were out...and we settled in for the night.... my cousin woke me up at 4am.....i dozed back off.... then i was awaken by my uncle mowing grass at 6:30am....I was like...Are you freakin kiddin me..???...lol   This was out in the country...so i don't suppose there are any noise laws in the country that early in the morning.... My uncle takes pride in his yard and is very very picky!  So we all were good and awake by 7am...and ate breakfast....our choice of powdered donuts, chocolate donuts, dunkin donuts, blueberry muffins, scrambled eggs , bacon and toast....what a selection we had....yummy!

We headed out about 10am...and went to Yellowcreek Park ~ my cousin Jessica and I took pictures of the girls all day....we walked the trails at the park.... and back in the woods there was a place called Pioneer Village...like back in the old days....it had...Old cabins, wagons, spinning wheel for pottery....they had a kettle going making Beez wax candles...and asked the girls to join in....and gave us a little history lesson on some things back in the day. There were outhouses...and old wooden barns....it was really interesting.  After the park we went to a mexican restaurant...it was yummy!  Then we went down to the river to take a few pics....We had a great day.

Can't believe i didn't take a nap....but i am worn out....so i believe i am headin to bed....
