In memory of my Grandma ~ a day late

      Grandma,

It's been 7 years since you  were taken away from our lives so suddenly ~ not a day goes by that i don't think of you! You were there to help mom raise me till i was 12yrs. old, you were like a 2nd mama to me !

I hope you know how much your guidance throughout my life helped me ~ teaching me the right and wrongs ~ and even allowing me to learn through my mistakes in life!

You were always there to catch me when i would fall, to wipe away the tears....and to even bust my butt when need be.....You always knew mama wouldn't spank me, cause i was and still am spoiled rotten...lol  Today I am thankful for those times you spanked my butt when i did wrong, even though i would go and do the same thing again and again ~ cause i was a stubborn lil redheaded brat....hehe   I learned so much from you throughout my life..... and when i was 12 and mom met my stepdad....and got married....and We finally moved out on our own.... I never let anyone know....but i was SO sad.... I didn't want to leave out from under you and grandads wing....I felt so safe and loved there....it was my comfort~zone!   I was also at the same time so excited about getting out...and my mom and stepdad and I...adventuring out into the world owning our own home and starting a new life together..... I am so blessed that i was able to grow up under your wing and guidance.....I am a better person today....because of YOU!    I love and miss you more than you will ever know grandma....

You and aunt Judy take good care of one another....Our guardian angels in heaven above..... Until we meet again....

I love you the whole wide world!

                                                             ~Terri~

  7. That is very Beautiful, brought tears to my eyes as I was reading it.
I lost my Grandmother last August, and she helped raise me too.
Anyway, I just wanted to say this is a very beautiful entry, in honor of your Grandma. I'm sure she's watching over you.
