Just wanted to thank you all
for the thoughts and prayers....
Chelsey's surgery lasted between 8am-3:30pm today, everything went good ~ they put 2 rods in her back. They said she would be kinda out of it a couple days...i suppose on pain meds...etc.. She is suppose to be in the hospital for 5-7 days total i believe. They say after this surgery she should be 2 inches taller. I bet she will feel like a totally different person, not having that curviture in her back.
Thanks also for the thoughts and prayers for my MIL, the meds for acid reflux seem to be helping her alot.
I will write more soon, for now i am needing some sleep..zzzzz....

So happy that the surgery went well! Back surgery is never easy and I am sending healing wishes Chelsea's way for a quick and painless recovery. I hear that acid reflux is awful, so I will also send healing wishes to your MIL. Hope you got some rest!

Terri.. I am so happy that your neice got through the surgery and is now well on her way to recovery. It won't be easy, but, God Bless her, she will be able to stand tall now, and not have that pain that severe scholiosis causes!!
