* We had horrible storms all night friday with tornado warnings and sirens going off everytime ya turned around with the worse lightening i have seen in a long time, we were without power for several hours with no candles = screwed! lol
* So happy Autumn has finally arrived
* Went to my nephew Jacob's 3rd birthday party today it was a hoot..he got lots and lots of gifts so he was on cloud 9
*I have already started my christmas shopping in Sept. which is a first, usually i am a last minute shopper
* Still deciding on whether or not i want to put out halloween deco or not
* We use to handout candy until 16-17yr olds came trick or treating too, then we just started leaving the house on halloween night
* I kinda miss handing out candy to all the kiddies...may do it again someday
* Someone needs to ban me from Kohl's seriously...I went there this week and $100 bucks later i ended up with(all on sale)

~ Me a pair of Levis stretch bootcut hip huggers...can't wait to wear them!

Never been in Kohl's...seen the store in cities nearby, though. They are building one here right now. I guess you don't suggest I go in there, huh? lol Tell the older kids it's "Trick or Treat" and they got a trick....that is, no treat!!

ReplyDeleteyes we had flooding for last two days torrential rains and tornados and yup lots of rain. saw the boxers in the answers and was thinking DOG BOXERS for a second becuase that is just he way my mind thinks lol

I used to always start shopping early. But now (Most) the nieces and nephews are H/S freshmen to 3rd yr. college. So now it is $$, same amount to each one. The little ones we still shop for.

Kohl's loves me too. They just sent me some new Credit Card I haven't opened it. Not long ago I got 4 of the cutest stuffed animals (giraffe, zebra, tiger and elephant) for $5 a piece and part of the proceeds went to some wildlife organization. The girls named them: Gina Giraffe; Bindi (for Steve Irwin's daughter) Zebra; Sugar Kay Tiger and Ellie Elephant. Anyway, they were a great buy. Sounds like you got a lot for $100!! Have a good week

So many had a bad storms over the weekend, including Missouri where my sweetie is right now. Hope its calmed down for you all today.

Christmas shopping...whew, you go, girl. I'll still be last minute. I haven't put much Halloween deco's out for two years now. I'm seriously considering cutting way back on my Christmas stuff. Even though I love it, my kids are useless and no help so if they want stuff up, they're gonna help or else. I love Kohl's but the closest one is 45 minutes from me so I'm sort of safe coz the Target is real close. Love ya, Chris
