The link above is a new journal...that a friend of mine started...her name is June... it is a place where we can request prayers, make birth announcements, birthday, anniversary....or just good news in general to share.....

Got up at 8am this morning...decided to clean house a little....washed dishes, folded and put away laundry....then decided I had , had enough...lol So i started trying to catch up on journals....
It's suppose to be 68 today here in Kentucky with sunshine...71 tomorrow...and rain the rest of the week... I am sooo sick of rain.... April showers....whoever said that...hit the nail on the head...didn't they.....
We had storms thursday night...and my poor coworker got stuck out in flood waters in his explorer....trying to make it to work...he said before he could even think about trying to get out....it was too late...his SUV was submerged.... water coming up into the floorboard....I asked him if he was scared...he said he seriously thought he was going to die and was praying....he had to sit on the ledge of his window...and wait for 911 to come get him out. His SUV is totaled....I feel bad for him....he has 2 little girls....and like the rest of us...no one likes those unexpected cost that pop up....out of the blue.... he had full coverage...which is a blessing...but there is still a deductible... You will never ever catch me in flood waters....it terrifies me....when I see water...i turn around and take an alternate route....even if it makes me late....
Jeff and one of his best friends is planning a camping/fishing/4 wheelin trip....on the 19th...it's gonna be an all nighter.... I think me and my cousins may have a girls night...rent movies....and veg out....and catch up on girlie talk....unless they are working on setting up for their Prom ....but hopefully they can squeeze in a girls night.....slumber party....as we call it....only bad thing is...I have towork that sunday the 20th....I will be exhausted going to work...cause I know we will stay up late....but I will only have to work for 4hrs...then I can come home and crash....
Anyways...I have rambled enough....

wow, very sorry to hear about your coworkers flood mishap. Man that would be frightening. Good he was alone that could really put a fear in children for a long time.

i hope you get to have your slumber party! sounds like fun. I have never been to one. My girls have had them . they watched Rent and sang and ate all night I guess yall will watch Idols that you have recorded! lol
