Random thoughts:
* Laid out for an hour and a half today...not all at once, went and got some tanning oil with a little sunscreen in it so I wouldn't burn so much...am finally getting some color to me..yay!
* Had to go to Rite Aid and buy a lounge chair to lay out in...can you believe those things are $17.99 now ..it was on sale for $9.99 thank goodness....
* While I was laying out....I had the radio in the garage on to where i could hear it... I swear the neighbors dog gets on my ever last nerve!!! It barks constantly....even when you try to ignore it....we can't even enjoy sitting out in our back yard anymore....we went through this last summer...and we thought about calling the law...to have them talk to them, saying they had ...had complaints about the barking...but we didn't know if that was the right thing to do...our neighbors are good neighbors and we don't want any problems...maybe Jeff talking to the guy in person about it would be the right thing to do? I mean...if that was Beau(he hardly ever barks at all...thank goodness)...I would make him come inside so my neighbors could enjoy peace and quiet in their own back yard....common courtesy...ya know...UGH!
* Still have to pack an overnight bag...Jeff wants to take a bag I want to take a suitcase...girls have alot of stuff....lol
* Need to shower and paint my toe nails =)
* We're gonna go out to dinner at Beef O Brady's....then go get cash and fill up my Expedition....already have a half a tank...but it will still probably take 60 bucks to fill it up...the way gas prices are...UGH! For an expedition it doesn't do so bad on gas though...I drove a whole month on $65...but i live close to work too....but still....
Guess this will be my last entry till I get back on friday...if i'm not too tired....but i will get an entry in this weekend sometime if so...hopefully complete with details and pics.....

I know if it were me (having the dog barking) and you and I got along as neighbors, I would rather you come over and say..."you know, your dog is totally cute and all, but he barks up a storm whenever we are outside. Is there something we can do, would he listen if we told him to quite down? I would do that first.

some people just dont seem to even think that their dogs are bothering people. maybe they keep him out there because he drives them nuts too?? sigh

Buy a air horn every time the dog barks blast it , it hurts the dogs ears , he'll stop barking in awhile

dude. gas prices are killing me! 60 bucks to fill the suv..30 for the car. And that doesn't last 2 weeks in either.
ReplyDeleteIt'd bother me to no end if a neighbor left their dog out barking constantly. Bring it inside, it's not everyone else's issue to listen to ;)

ReplyDeleteAbout the dog.......we had the same problem in our other house. "Pooh Bear", a Bichon, never shut up. Never. Ever. Eventually, my neighbors came out to get her~they were considerate enough.
Now the ball is on US. Blue (Italain Greyhound) freaks over any loud noises......vacuum, mowers, weed eaters.......When the neighbors mow their lawn, Blue gets out and barks non stop. I scream at Blue to get in the house, but that dog is like, OCD, ADHD, all combined when it comes to the noises. And forget catching him. Greyhounds are kinda quick. Impossible. Last summer, he chased the guy up and down the fence, until he threw himself into a seizure. I caught him then, dragged him in the house~
I'd talk to the neighbor. It's annoying as all get out.
