I would like to say "Thank You" to each and every one of you who left such heartfelt and caring comments , lifting my stepsister and her family up in prayer in the loss of their unborn child.... Ya'll mean the world to me....when I am down you are there for me to lean on....and I appreciate it so much!

Last night was Mariah Carey night... I was really nervous for the guys...I mean who can sing Mariah Carey songs and sing them well besides Mariah herself right? Or so I thought....the guys actually did a great job..I was impressed and I think the judges were too...
None of the girls really wowed me....don't be throwing maters at me or nothing....but I am getting a tad bored with Brooke ...she has a soft pure voice....and it's beautiful don't get me wrong....but it seems she never steps it up a notch....and doesn't take risk....
I've never been a real Jason fan....but last week and this week he done fairly well...and to think i wanted him gone a couple weeks ago....
Here are my thoughts....

Normally I wouldn't put Carly in the bottom and I am still thinking maybe I should switch it to Kristy Lee Cook...but i think she did well last week and this week....
Anyways...onto my favorite from last night, of course you know it's gonna be David Cook for me....he is just amazing....the judges all thought he did great...he always takes risk and makes a song his own....he sings "Always be my baby"....his brother who has cancer was in the audience last night, Davids hometown raised $80,000 to have his brother flown in on a jet with medical staff(he couldn't fly on a reg. plane) to watch David perform... it really got to David as you will see in the end....he has tears in his eyes and they show his brother in the audience after Ryan mentions his tears.... My heart goes out to his family....my family has been there....we know the heartache and pain of watching your loved ones suffer from cancer.... I heard on the radio today....he only has a few weeks left....My thoughts and prayers are with you....David Cooks family....and with your brother AC especially....

8 days till my Bon Jovi/ Daughtry concert...I still feel like it's all a dream...someone pinch me
My vacation starts tuesday....I was going to take monday off too but didn't have enough time....so I will be off tues-sun of next week....I can't wait I need a vacation so bad....we will be heading to Tennessee on thursday for the concert and staying overnight....and friday we are going to their huge mall ....I am so excited
It's been so nice out today with a high of 70...and sunshine...I came home from work and was looking at our landscaping...we just redone it completely last summer...so I was checking to see if my Hostas were coming up yet...and they are..... =) Then I went to check and see if our Oriental lilies were coming up we had bought from Lowes last year for $25 each plant...last summer they wasn't doing so well....and started dying early in the summer....so we wasn't so sure they would come back up....but they are....I am sooooo happy!!! I will have to take pics once everything is up and blooming....and my Dogwood should be blooming anytime now.... I love Spring!!! In may I am going to buy a shephards hook that has 2 hooks that are offset....and get a couple hanging baskets with some beautiful flowers to put in our bed out front....and maybe a couple of decent sized flower pots for our porch with a various bunch of flowers in them....then comes the fun part
This year we have to totally re-do our landscaping out back....we have the stones already set up and the shape formed....now we just need to lay some dirt, plastic, mulch and plant some flowers etc....when all is said and done i will post pics like i did last summer when we done our landscaping out front.
We still need to paint our front and back door too...cause we bought new shutters....we went with a wineberry color instead of hunter green like our old ones....so now we need to paint our doors....and I would like to find a nice wreath for our front door....and we need a new patio set too.... I'm always wanting and needing...haha
Where our pool use to be...we are gonna make it a Firepit area with seating....so we can go out there at night and hangout by a fire and roast hot dogs, marshmellows...listen to the radio....and enjoy the evenings under the stars.....it will be nice for when we have company too....have a few drinks and just chill..
Not sure if i ever mentioned it or not, but last fall we gave our pool away to Jeffs best friend.... =( I was pretty sad about it....but it needed a new liner and the pump was acting up....and it was just a hassle to maintain....now I am trying to talk him into eventually getting a hot tub for our back patio....hahaha It might take me awhile but eventually i think he will give in *wink*
I think I have rambled enough now....

I have to say, without a shadow of a doubt John Cook is surpasing everyone with his sole identity and last night was proof of that if there was ever any doubts. He doesn't need to or even try to copy a song, he is his own superstar. I think he can take it all. I first thought that DAvid A would , and he is good, no doubt, but last night to me it seems John took it all by a huge sweep. I am still bumming over John Michaels going, I knew he wouldn't win it all but was still shocked, it wasn't his time to go.

ReplyDeleteYou are so biased with David Cook LOL. He made that song his own but I wasn't as impressed as the judges who have his a a favorite no matter what. I did like Kristy Lee Cook a lot last night and they didn't give her the credit she deserved, well except for Paula. Hope you have a happy tomorrow. : )

I know there is going to be a fight for AI and the last two standing will be David and David! They are both so awesome that I can't pick between them. David Cook blew me away tonight. BTW your bottom three were the same as mine and I thought Brook needed some time off too. I do love her but your right...she has not been stepping it up. I was upset that Kristy was cut over her. She did MUCH better then Brook this week. In my opinion anyhow. ANYWAY...can't wait to see your new landscaping! Have a great day
