Sharing some pics from the concert thursday night....we had a blast!
I will go into detail more tomorrow, but we are fixing to go out to dinner and shopping....but here are some highlights of the show
* Big N Rich came out to sing "We've got it goin on" with Bon Jovi...
*LeAnn Rimes came out to sing "Till we ain't strangers anymore" with Bon Jovi.... I was so shocked that they both came out to perform with them...I was wondering if Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland would be there too....but she wasn't....
* Daughtry played for an hour
* Bon Jovi played for 3 hours!!!
*Jeff dreaded going to this concert for 3 months, since i first bought the tickets...but he had a great time...that made me so happy....cause I knew I would have an amazing time and wanted him to enjoy it too....
* I took a video almost 6 mins of Bon Jovi singing Bad Medicine...and a short 16 second video of them singing the first verse of Living on a Prayer...if I can figure out how to get them on here I will share those too....
* Sorry the pics are dark and grainy...thats even after i lightened them up in my Kodak Easyshare....I have decided I think i need a camera especially for concerts...a really good one....any suggestions? My Kodak Easyshare z650...is great with indoor and outdoor pics....just not that great in dark stadiums...I even tried the night setting and everything....
Anyways...I will have more details tomorrow about the concert, the mall, massages....etc....
Hope everyone is having a good weekend....my vacation is almost over....sad about that...but it's been a great one!

ReplyDeleteThe thing I've been learning about cameras...I want a Digital SLR, either the Canon Rebel XTI or the Nikon D80...it's the lens that makes the difference. I'm not sure what lenses work well in low light but I'm pretty sure that's the key to clear pics, the proper lens. If you have a camera shop in your area, go check them out and browse, ask lots of questions and then see if you can find it online and order it from somwhere. You can avoid paying taxes and stuff in some cases and you can find used lenses for a fraction of the original cost.

That was the problem I ran into........too dark.......you gotta have a prefessional grade camera/lens to do the concert photography. I've been watching ebay for a new lens that opens up to f2.8......but they are so daggone expensive!
