Random thoughts:
* Went shopping @ Kohl's saturday bought 8 pair of flip flops(yes I have a problem...lol) They were on sale for $4.99 reg..$14 ...so I had to get one of every color and style i liked....Will take a pic to share...haha Also bought a Firepit...I had been eyeing it since last summer when they had them...it's a real nice firepit with a ceramic tile edging....it was reg.. $279...I had seen it on sale before for $150....but still wasn't going to pay that....so Kohl's had an early bird sale from 7am-1pm....and had it on sale for $112.... I had to have it at that price....now all we need is a new patio set... I figure we could have a table with 6 chairs...4 chairs around the table...and 2 around the firepit.... or we could always just have the patio set on the patio with the 4 or 6 chairs...then make a firepit area out where the pool use to be....with some other chairs around it.... I forget what they are called...but like the big chairs with the slanted backs...you can buy them wooden or hard plastic....they start with an A.... oh well...any other time i could think of it.....
* Last night was our "Girls Night" with 2 of my cousins...(16 and 17yrs old)...the 16yr old is my Aunt Judy's daughter Chelsey... We had such a good time...we rented 2 movies... Dedication with Mandy Moore....we turned it off after 10 minutes into it....maybe should have given it more time...but it seemed boring....and also rented the Game Plan....I heard it was good...but Chels had already seen it...and said it was okay but slow.... so....we decided to just do hair, makeup and just have some girlie talk.... We went to bed at 11:30pm...only because I had to work this morning for 4hrs...... I have a couple pics I plan on sharing....
* I didn't sleep in at all this weekend and I am exhausted.....we put our new bedding on yesterday...I took pics...had some new flannel sheets on(still a little cold here in Ky)....I slept like a baby.....I love flannel sheets.....
* Need to go take the movies back now....think we may go out to eat....not sure where....

LOL at the flip flops... I think you mean Adirondack chairs... they are comfy... go with the cheaper for around the fire pit.. the wood ones are $$$ just remember not too close with plastic :) Get some rest

I sooo need some flip flops! I need to hit up Old Navy! LOL.. I have a fire pit. We get so much use out of it.... We even use it in the winter when we are playing out in the snow. Its good to have a fire to warm up in front of instead of coming inside. :)
ReplyDeleteI know the chairs you are talking about.. Adirondack (sp?)... My step-father does wood working for a hobby... He makes them. He made me a few double sets. They have a table built in between the seats. They are so nice. I'll have to take a pic for ya to show you what I mean.

Adirondack chairs. lol I couldn't think of the word either until you said it started with an "a". I don't even own ONE pair of flip flops. I used to wear them when I was younger, but just don't like them now. Sounds like you had a great time with your cousins. Have a good vacation.
