Aloha!

This week has been pretty eventful at work..

It is hospital appreciation week..and for that we have received...socks and a cup with the hospital logo on them...as well as a free breakfast monday morning...free catered lunch from Grandys yesterday..and tomorrow we get a free lunch as well...we are having a Luau...cookout...with lots of goodies.. we have a travel tote we are getting as well..but shipment was running behind on those...

In addition to all that we were able to purchase cases of pepsi products for $3 a case!!!!!

They had pepsi, diet pepsi, mt dew, diet mt dew, sierra mist, and aquafina water

I bought 12 cases for our house for company, fishing, camping, bbq's etc....

I'm getting my mom 3 cases and my aunt 21 cases tomorrow...what a deal!

Some people were buying 50-60 cases...

It's nice feeling appreciated sometimes at work..it sure boost morale around there...

Jeff had a great job offer this week, but as you know he had just taken his old job back and started on the 28th... The main guy at Coca Cola called him and wanted him to come to work for them doing maintenance...that is something Jeff has never done before but the guy said that didn't matter he knew Jeff was a hard worker and willing to learn... Jeff said I'm sorry but i'm not going to be able to accept the offer because I don't want to do my employer that way knowing that he just started, they already ordered his uniforms and all...the guy said he completely understands as he wouldn't want to be done that way either... BUT ..then Jeff told him he is interested in driving a truck for them if they ever are in need of a driver in the future...Jeff told him he doesn't have his CDL's....but the guy told him he would help him get them...and that he would call him when the next driving position became available...and told him he had a job there anytime he wanted one...

Jeff was sooo shocked and baffled by it all...that is a great job...he really didn't want to get into maintenance , Jeff is more into being out and about and not cooped up in a building all day....that is why he would be more interested in driving for them...the only reason he would consider leaving where he is now later on...for the driving position is more money.... money talks ya know!

Jeff mows for Coca Cola...and he hit it off with the main man right from the start...they even give him employee discount on bottled coke products....I guess he thinks alot of Jeff to offer him a job at the plant.

I got off work at 10am this morning, because I work saturday...we don't get OT at the moment so when we work on the weekend (4 hours)...we have to go home early during the week one day for 4 hours...doesn't hurt my feelings any..I love it...haha  It had been raining most of the day so I came home and took a nap and caught up on my sleep I lost over the weekend....i needed that !

My uncle is coming home tuesday-saturday....he lives about 3 hours away and doesn't come home often...I can't wait to see him!  It's been several months since I seen him last...probably 6 months or more...

I guess that is all that is going on in my neck of the woods...

                       Until next time...
