Garage sale finds...

About 6:20am yesterday I headed out to meet my best friend to go garage saleing....there were 2 neighborhood sales we wanted to go to...in really nice neighborhoods.....

On my way to meet her...I had to stop at a sale I saw....glad i stopped too...got my cousin some really cute summer dresses for $1 and $2 each....and some nice dress shoes for .50 cents each.... that is where I got the pampered chef pan as well... I got some Victoria Secret lotion for .10 cents and got me a pair of flip flops that are crocheted ...on top...really comfy.

I met up with my friend about 6:45 and got in with her...and off we went to the neighborhood sales... we had a blast...we shopped till 12pm....

She has 2 little girls 2yrs and 7yrs...she found them lots of clothes...and found her hubby some things too... I found Jeff a few shirts too....one is hilarious and reminded me so much of Jeff...cause he can be so sarcastic and funny sometimes... it is red... and has what looks to be like a name tag on the front left hand corner it says   "Hello....my name is STUD"   I just had to get it...I was crackin up!

We went to eat Cosa Martinez(Mexican) for lunch...it was so good... I got Grande 28..which is a tortilla filled with chicken and sauteed onions, green peppers etc....with a cheese sauce poured over it...with refried beans and rice.

I came home and took a nap...and later Jeff and I went to Jcpenneys and Macys....I needed to finish up my mothers day shopping...I got me a really cute pair of levi capri's that are cuffed at the bottom...they were on sale and I had an extra 20% off coupon....

We then went to eat dinner at Cracker Barrel....we got a late start last night and didn't sit down to eat till 10pm...they close at 11pm... I got something new they have called Chile Jack Chicken or something like that...it is chicken tenderloins marinated and grilled...with sauteed peppers over top with melted pepperjack cheese....it was so good... I got hashbrown casserole, dumplings and green beans with cornbread....I couldn't eat it all...they giveyou so much to eat....but it was yummy!  Jeff got catfish, hushpuppies, mashed taters, corn and cornbread.....

I love the little store in Cracker Barrel....I got some Yankee Candle fresheners for our trucks....in "Clean cotton"  smells so fresh....it said on the box buy 2 get one free....but no price....I paid for them and holy cow it was $9.99   those things better last awhile!

I got a really nice candle in an old timey jar it is a 3 fragrance candle...has a apple blossom section, cherry blossom and orange blossom...it smells great!

We are fixing to eat some breakfast....bacon and tomato sandwiches....and then we are heading to walmart to get some bait...we are gonna go to the lake fishing today.... I may come back with a few pics to share....

Hope you have a wonderful sunday....

                                 Until next time.....

  3. Sounds like you had a lot of fun.  I haven't been to a garage sale in a long time but you can find some interesting things sometimes.  LOL  You even get to see some of the warped things that people are trying to unload. : )  Makes you think sometimes.  Hope you have a happy day today.  Luv ya!

  11. awesome finds :)  i love the pot...i just bought an enameled cast iron one for over 60 bucks.  ridiculous!  it's great for roasting meats in the oven...sear them on the stovetop and then fill up the pot with veggies, stick it in the oven for a couple hours...yum :)

We got to a little mexican place around here for lunch all the time...I always get some kind of burrito like what you described.  yum, yum, yum.  I just found out that they put a Cracker Barrel in not too far from me :)  Bacon and tomato...with avacado for me :)  OMG...i'm starving!!  THis is like going to the grocery store hungry!
