Last night was a blast....Chris and Wes some of my coworkers...as well as one of my friends Amy who also use to work in our dept. and her husband all met down at the river around 9pm...to see our favorite cover band!
About 6pm Chris...who is one of my best friends, like a brother to me....came to pick me up as his girlfriend was drinking and he didn't want her driving...and she had a friend over at their apartment....we headed over to their apartment to drink before we headed to the river...to save some cash...haha!
I picked up a 6pk of Smirnoff Wild Grape on my way home from work....those things are so good....I can drink them like kool-aid!
We took a couple Yager shots....first time I had those, they are good but damn the burn as it goes down..lol They wanted me to try Yager Bombs...Yager mixed with Red Bull....they say those are really good but they were out of Red Bull....
So needless to say by the time we left for the river around 8:50...we were pretty toasted.... Wes wasn't of course...as he was our DD for the night.....we got a great parking spot...couldn't believe it cause it was packed!
Last year they had changed it to 21 and over...this year they changed it back to all ages....and just put different color bands on those 21 and over...and those 21 and under...
The alcohol went up this year too, along with everything else....last year a bud light aluminum bottle was $3 bucks...this year they were 4....and this year they sold pitchers with tickets.... $9 for the first one....$7 for refills.....
We bought 2 pitchers and Chris and I split em'..... Amys husband said there was about 8 beers in a pitcher...as he counted as he drank them..... gosh...so that was 8 beers a piece there....
Ummmm....yeah I was trashed.... ya know I really didn't think i was drinking that much....it didn't feel like it at the time....lol
Someone we know down there hooked us up with 6 tickets for 6 draft beers....so that was 3 more a piece.....
This morning at 5am I was hugging the toilet...
I'm not drinking again like that for awhile....I never thought my stomach would settle down....I never did actually get sick though...thank goodness....
But it was good times for sure.... =)

LOL drinking too much is no fun! I limit my drinks now too, after my last big binge w/ B's sister. UGH!! Hope you're feeling better today!
ReplyDeleteMixing different types of drinks will get ya every time. Glad you all had fun and didn't get hauled to jail for public intoxication. At least it was your own toilet you were hanging over but those dry heaves ain't no fun.
