Well...believe it or not today was a really good day for me being a monday and all...work has slowed down quite a bit and not being swamped and really busy is nice for a change!
So...one of my friends went Friday and had that professional type of spray tan done....you are only in the booth 6 seconds...and it last for 5 to 7 days....and right now they are having a special buy one get one free for 15 bucks....so anyways...i seen her over the weekend and i was really shocked ~ she looked like she had just got back from Florida or somethin on vacation...it looked like she had been to the tanning bed at least 10 times....i was like damnnn i might have to try this out.....but in my mind i was thinkin...maybe not...cause i don't wanna come out of there lookin like an Orange Streaked mess....which hers looked really great....but i just knew if i did it something would go terribly wrong...lol So she had plans of going to lay in the regular beds for 7 minutes...just to help maintain hers..and i was gonna go in the 6 second spray booth after work....we got there...and i was like ok...when u are done tanning come over and knock on the door...and after i get my underclothes on u can come in and help me even it all out good....OMG....when i stepped outta that booth i looked like a drippin wet dawg...hahaha...that stuff was just rollin all over my body...i was tryin to rub it in evenly as quick as i could ~ u can take ur time...but i thought the more it sat there the more it would leave spots or streak...so i was spreadin this stuff like no other...lol..and my friend knocks on the door...i said...Get ur ass in here i need HELP...lol...beware tho...i am naked as a jaybird....lmfao...we were dyin laughin in there....i was embaressed but yet at the same time i didn't care....cause i wanted it to all be spread GOOD! The people workin ..prolly thought...u bunch of lesbos....lol....but u know girls...we potty 2gether and everything...no biggie... =) Needless to say....I got home...and they say u can't shower for 6 hrs....let it soak in...and the longer u go...the darker it gets.....so it's been 6 hours since i have been and i have a Golden Tan in 6 seconds...lol...can't beat that ~ the worse part was coming out of the booth with that stuff all over ya....felt kinda icky....but so worth it....i still have my free one to use whenever...it never expires....that was my excitement for the day!
Hope ya'lls day went as well as mine....Guess i will be goin to bed now!

Nahhhhh...she probably just got a little scared cause it turned her on a bit!! HAHA...Thats awesome though..I forgot all about that stuff..I need to do that since I don't need to tan being pregnant..What a great idea for when hubby comes home!! Thats hilarious that you needed some help..Id hate to see my big belly in there trying to spread that stuff!! HAHA...I'm glad it worked great for you though!! YAY!!

Let me know how the tan looks tomorrow. I'm thinking of going to do it myself. I actually got a new magazine from the ABC company today and they are offering a spray gun thingy and the refills for you to do that at home. I'd probably make a mess of it but it's alot cheaper. ReplyDeleteSOOOOOO FUNNY!!! I have been thinking about doing that as well. I go to the tanning bed about once a week just to keep a mild color on me, but it would be much nicer to go six minutes a month. Lol. Let me know if you look orange or not ;). bye girlie, ~Krissy
ReplyDeleteTerri DO NOT GET THAT TANNING THING!!! My friend does it all the time and by the 7th day as it is wearing off you start to turn orange.. LOL... Yea she looks great when she is getting it done.. then a few days later LOL... Dont do it lol oh yea and if you decide to stop after you turn orange you turn yellow for a few days lol... Heather

I love the pic of the cat I have one of the cat actually laughing I am going to send to you. I think it's the same cat. I wish I could learn how to make those tags you guys make. I think they are sooo cool.
